Paul When you make the MTF version of Global Market trend can you add a option to specify threshold levels with an alert / send notification? This would be really useful as when certain levels are crossed it would signal time to place trades / turn EA's on / off. Not sure if its also possible to show the current level and direction of the GMT trend? I really think this is the missing link to help keep us out of retracements / market consolidations... Thank you Paul, and Hi to all, I am running two instances of the GlobalMarketTrend V1.0.0 on my chart. One for D1 and one for H4. Somehow, I was expecting them to move in harmoney with each other, with some delay. But much to my surprise, most of the time they run in opposite directions. I.e., H4 goes down or is flat, D1 picks up. I am just surprised and trying to find an explantion for it. Regards, Bernard |

Bernard ... to my eyes it is exactly as I would expect. The scales can not be symmetrical because there 6 x 4hr data in each unit of 1 x daily datum. When representing two TF on one x-axis, they will never match. Unsure if this answers it, but best I can do. |

Due to popular demand, new indicator GlobalMarketTrend MTF in post 1. This one shows all timeframes for the global market trend you need. The Global Market Trend is the sum of all Currency Slope Strenghts squared. This can and probably will be a resource hog, put it out slowly, start with one timeframe and maxbars set to 100. Build from there. Pokémon those pips! Catch 'em all! Paul |

Your post raises an important principle, mop ... that of gratitude. We all lack gratitude at different times, but never more than when we take something for granted, that we may have valued previously. Paul keeps a relatively low profile here, in his unassuming way, but the value of the contributions he makes can not be valued ... priceless. Forgetting to say those two little words ... 'thank YOU" ... devalues the contributions Paul makes. I suspect he would not want to make a fuss about it, but if he is in any way like me, when appreciation is expressed, it actually spurs me on to perform even greater deeds, in every sphere of life. Thank you for this indicator, Paul, belatedly, and I would like to add my appreciation for some of the amazing software you have created and freely shared with me, via this forum. I have not used this particular one (yet anyway), but I have been the recipient of your work vicariously through using the indicators and machinery wrapped up in Nanningbob's 10.4 stuff. Thanks for your creations and your caring. My trading experience is very much enriched through your work. |

Hello Mr Balluda, Ingot54 me advise to contact you. I know you are very busy, but what i will ask you, will made many happy traders. I will wish one pop up alert when the two lines (one currency pair) of 10.5 CSS1.07D, crosses. From experience, I do not use colors because, in my opinion, they are not very reliable (it is a personal ideas). In advance thank you.
