Though, I did take a nice 40pip profit off a EJPY short. Closed as soon as the Stoch hit the bottom, not the best practice for maximum pips, but I take what the market gives me now. Didnt expect the NZD n AUD turn arounds, and JPY buys were stronger than I imagined. So yeah. One trade today, which went into my pocket. Slowly does it

I've become very trigger-shy after some good lossesso hardly traded for a couple of weeks now, I keep finding reasons not to take trades rather than reasons to take trades, I just can't get my head back in the game.
I disagreed with CSS last week, due to my belief PA "would never go there" etc. but it did, just like CSS predicted it would.....

Are the settings ok?
Try downloading past history. I got some screwy lines between two different installs, but everything worked out after getting some historical data.

Newbies to all this might not be aware that the utter total crap represented by CrapTx has this lurvely little trick up its sleeve; it ships with incomplete historical data.onontsira » Tue May 20, 2014 3:58 pm wrote:Thank you Dispell,
With historical data loaded and the same pairs as Bob, CSS now looks quite the same!
When you consider that a 'complete' historical data only consists of the open, close, high and low of a candle - itself of limited use, then imagine how useless is an incomplete historical database. Always do a refresh of your charts whenever you start a new demo platform.
Why does CrapTx ship with incomplete historical data? Well, once upon a time the dimwits at Crapperquotes were in cahoots with the criminals that run most so-called 'brokerage' firms, and deliberately coded their platform to favour the activities of the crims. Since then, the dimwits at Crapperquotes have out-criminaled the crims and become loathed by all and sundry, by throwing their weight around with unwanted yet forced 'upgrades' to their pathetic rubbish. They and the crims appear to have fallen out of love with each other.
Mind, they probably have substantial weight to throw around having grown fat on the proceeds of the license fees charged to the crims. Most of them will be so bloated they can barely move. Frankly, I hope they explode one day.
Those of us with accounts at Global Prime have the comfort of knowing that Jeremy and co are looking at alternatives, but migration to one of them throws up a whole host of problems; at least the guys are looking. A few others here have accounts with alternative true brokers. The rest of you are stuffed.
Read the effing manual, ok?
Afterprime is the official SHF broker. Read about them at https://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=175790#p175790.
I still suffer from OCCD. Good thing, really.
Anyone here feeling generous? My paypal account is always in the market for a tiny donation. pianodoodler@hotmail.com is the account.

No worries mate.onontsira » Tue May 20, 2014 11:58 pm wrote:Thank you Dispell,

Just helping out with stuff I can. Anyway, a look at today's CSS. While mine is slightly different from Bob's, here's my outtakes on my CSS.
JPY is still going strong since accelerating past the .20 line, looking to overtake CAD at the top.
CADJPY may have some interesting movement, but that remains to be seen.
Conversely, CHF has just crossed the EUR as the weakest, CHFJPY sell could potentially be a lot of pips.
Next up is the AUD and NZD. AUD was ranging for a few weeks before breaking down into a freefall, NZD following closely. To those that caught those AUD pips yesterday, kudos!
Hopefully this pattern continues and we can make bank on more AUD pips, and as always, AUD comes with the NZD.
GBP is interesting, my CSS is showing deceleration on the GBP and acceleration on the USD, the two looking to cross very soon. I guess the reports today will show us where it'll all be going.
Please feel free to comment and give your two cents.
I would love to see other CSS reads on other brokers, it'll be great if we can compare notes and make better decisions.
Cheers!
