That's an average of $90 a basket which at basket TP of 1% is higher than what I was aiming for--but I closed 1 basket manually which may have skewed things a bit. Draw down max was 3.47%. This is the most exciting aspect of this strategy/method--it lends itself to pretty accurate trading behaviour...which is very seldom seen in trading...never mind investing.

"Max open trades per symbol-- 6
"Max one open per Candle in Timeframe"--4 Hours
"Timeframe to base ATR on for lotSize and TP/SL calculation"--4 Hour
"Period to base ATR on for lotSize and TP/SL calculation"--4Hour
"Factor if Calc using ATR"--1

Chaps - the forex 'bloodbath' mentioned by Steve-O many times, involving the CHF pairs.... if that weee to happen today, in theory, how would this EA react??

I guess we would be stopped out if we were in the wrong direction.....or our 1.5% basket would simply close at a profit?

It depends on your settings.
If you do not use TP/SL or BasketTP/SL etc then what can it do?
It is there both as daily operation if wanted or at least as one safety net in case of...
It is not bullet proof, if some pulls the plug totally then there is no EA or manual routine that can do anything...
Instead it is then more important not to use too high lotsize and not too many trades per symbol.
So in the end it boils down to your own risk analysis and what exposure you are willing to accept.
You can select the symbols you want, and you can remove the ones you are not sure about etc.

But when trade TP/SL are touched then Empty4 should react automatically.
And if any Basket TP/SL is reached then it will try to close all those trades.

I will look into other more advanced mechanisms later on but this is the current situation.

During this particular CHF move the market was halted (CHF pairs) for 45 minutes-1 hour. SL's were not respected/filled, so only if you had enough margin you could have survived this move.

I need to update anyway.

Since my post Friday (closed 6 baskets)--I have closed another 3--total 9. Balance from $7728.48 to 7812.99 ($84.51). 9 baskets in 6 trading days—still maintain target of 1.5 per day. Aim after 9 baskets to be on $7787.84—so $7812.99 still ahead of the curve. I have changed my basket TP % to 1.5%...so the spreadsheet calculation below from basket 10 onwards is 1.5%.

I have been stuck in this basket since yesterday morning 04h57 and has been down to -$700 which has dropped the draw down to 9%. I’m waiting for the EA to trade its way out of this scenario.
