Sorry Jemook for offending you, just being honest, and honestly asking for donations. Not robbing anybody. Not holding my code hostage. I consider this an honest way to make money, since I do have some coding skills which it seems nobody wants to pay for, so donations are all I got. I don't have unemployment. I have food stamps that don't cover non-food.
I have many years of printing prepress experience, color management experience, and no training professionally coding. If you or anyone else know of job openings for these positions, I'm all ears. I have searched in my area and can't work in these areas any longer although they were one time great paying careers, especially prepress. Why? No jobs in these areas and I'm not trained in any others, so... Anyways, I don't know what to do with myself. Sorry I'm a burden by being here and giving like I have since I haven't had something else to do. Thanks to the couple people who have given something to help me and I guess understand that I've been giving and they appreciate it. I thank them. I'm sorry if I've offended others in the process. Hopefully you will consider all I've given in a short time, and the importance of the contents to all traders. IMHO the banks keep us all on separate pages and not acting as one force as we could due to even something as simple as day and week open times not being synced between criminals. This results in opens and pivots being different for different traders, thereby keeping us from acting as one force and keep us off-balanced individually and as a group, any group, anything that we do, because we are using the wrong information and/or given the wrong information by Empty4.
BTW, I'm not saying I won't give. In fact, I have been working on these problems. If you know anyone else working on these problems, maybe I'm not needed. If all criminal daily opens and pivots were based on open of 17:00 Eastern like internationally recognized Forex day close (which I've really been working on if you notice because criminals aren't synchronized on time), we would have no problem and I know I wouldn't be needed. Now for week open time:
Problem:
I go to W1 chart and get open time and price for the week on EURUSD on MB Trading. I get 2012.11.11 00:00 and 1.27296.
Now I must get the open time and price for the week on H1 chart, so that I can use EasternOffset to shift broker's open with a certain number of hours to match the open time for day that is internationally recognized at 17:00 Eastern, no matter what day of week it is.
So I must use iBarShift.
If I use iBarShift to find the bar shift of that time on my H1 chart, as follows:
WeekStartBar = iBarShift(Symbol(),0,WeekStartBartime,true);
and put that into another iTime function to get the time of that bar, to double check what Empty4 is giving me is actually the correct start bar of the week:
RealStartWeekTime = iTime(Symbol(),0,WeekStartBar);
... I get -1 because there is no bar on start of Sunday 00:00.
If I try:
WeekStartBar = iBarShift(Symbol(),0,WeekStartBartime,false);
... and ...
RealStartWeekTime = iTime(Symbol(),0,WeekStartBar);
... I get 2012.11.09 16:00 and 1.27101.
That's Friday's last bar open time and price, which is wrong.
Moreover, when I do look in History Center I also see that the first bar of the week on MBT was actually listed as 2012.11.11 17:00 (first bar of week on Eastern broker and internationally recognized as day close, so also open), and 1.27114.
Now, I don't know about you, but I find it troubling that what I get as the first price of the week on W1 is 1.27296 and open on H1 for week first bar is 1.27114. A difference of 18.2 pips.
And this is just one pair. And it affects pivots. But unless everyone is using FXDD which opens at correct Forex day time and sets it's 0 hour bar there correctly, or use another GMT+2/GMT+3 broker, then everyone is having these differences. I just would like to bring us all on the same page, so we can then go from there. I don't consider everyone seeing something different as a good thing, and not helpful in communication whatsoever.
