Pretty cool we are on the same wavelength .. I've been testing out a new strategy using higher TF for trend and a couple of others things on the lower TF to enter the trade. TMA Multi Time Frame is one of them and the H1 settings on a H4 TF are almost identical to what you posted: Cheers Jem |

That looks good too. I have been randomply looking at TMA slope divergence in the past . And one more thing while slowly scalping the trend if we take into consideration the HIDDEN DIVERGENCE which itself is a sign of continuation and thus a sign of a strong move. We can on higher timeframes increase our risk if we already have earned some pips. Picture attached. |

Thanks a lot and you are always welcome. I mostly lookout for hidden divergence on higher timeframe and work over it. And this retracement finder is a tool that I have just been working with since quite a long time now. I will surely try my best to assist you if anything comes through my mind. And looking forward to your new strategy soon. When I first read this thread I had an impression that this could be a profitable strategy if it was partially working when you presented it. And for me I just add a retracement finder to just about any strategy I come across and try to find my way out. Although I haven't used the TMA slope indicator and I was more worried about if it repainted (Not the TMAtrue slope). I am these days experimenting with RSI2+TMA ( that you pointed out in the other forum "what's you favourite indicator" and TMATrueSlope( the one in your attached picture above ). Hi Jem , What do you do in this situation where the colour has changed at the start of the day please? do you usually wait till next day ,can the colour change back during current day? Regards Peter PS.Also Jem does the position of the MACD above or below 0 have any significance? |

From what I remember of this strategy the 0 line doesn't matter, it's the colour change you are looking for. |
