I loaded the 3 test Simple Spider EAs on both MetaQuotes and Cowboy IBFX and all are showing the info screens now.

I did the same with GFT demo but there is a specific error (please see attachment) for all 3 test EAs that "Indicator VQ7.ex4 is missing", but I have VQ7.mq4 and VQ7.ex4. I went back to this 1st page of this topic, re-downloaded VQ7.mq4 and compiled again.
But the same error message still appears.
For some reason, it keeps looking for specific "VQ7.ex4".

I tried to create a new "Indicator VQ7.mq4" and compiled it. But the same error message appears.

The file should be in the normal directory and named vq7.mq4 and vq7.ex4. If you can drag and drop it on the chart, it should be fine.

Thanks George, I am able to drag and drop VQ7 on the chart and the indicator window does appear.
I will monitor the GFT demo next week to see if it can take a trade.

It's a mystery why the info screen only appears today when I log in. :roll:

3 unusual scenarios from 3 different demos for the same Test Simple Spider today:

GFT demo
the Test Simple Spider on GFT demo will not work because it could not find VQ7.ex4.
I wonder if this is because GFT Empty4 is powered by Boston Technologies and the EA is then affected by the bridge?
Anyway you can review this?

Forex.com demo
Whereas for Forex.com demo, the error message differs:
order sell 0.01 EURUSD opening at 0.00000 sl: 0.00000 tp: 0.00000 failed [Trade is disabled]
order sell market 0.01 EURUSD sl: 0.00000 tp: 0.00000
Any idea why it is behaving like that?

Cowboy IBFX demo
Spider is taking trades and I am still waiting for it to confirm DFTD. No wins yet (low liquidity due to US holiday).

Can you tell me the full path to the vq7.ex4 file for this installation. Also, how are you launching terminal.exe? Are you using a shortcut you've created, are you browsing to the directory and directly launching terminal.exe?

No idea. Can you place a manual trade, or do any other EAs place trades? "Trade is disabled" suggest that either the account can't open trades, or something is set in Empty4 to prevent it. Is that error from the experts tab or the journal? Do you have corresponding messages in the other tab?

The full path is c:\program files (x86)\GFT Empty4 - No2\experts\indicators.

And then it started trading.
I can only deduce it is because GFT uses a bridge (BT). Any ideas how to resolve this?

Just found out that the EA has to be set on EURUSDFXF chart instead of EURUSD chart.
I am resetting the test on EURUSDFXF.

Try this version, it is a little smarter about determining where you are running terminal.exe from. The previous code relied on your current directory being where terminal.exe is, but that doesn't have to be the case.
