The ghost of version 1.9.5 (removed yesterday) is still trading the Divisa demo, and forcing the wrong lot sizes.

Maybe I did not do the Empty4 restarts last night; I have most definitevly done so now.

Let's see what happens.

It is great you found this.

I can see all kinds of funny stuff in the logs such as the 1.9.5 version opening a trade and then the 1.9.9 closing it:

I have seen the Empty4 do this before. Even after you remove an EA from a chart it continues to run it as an unexplained feature Best solution I found is to restart it after changing something.

I have also seen Myfxbook login error faults in the logs. Myfxbook EA does not need to run as well as it now collects data using the investor password. Probably another case of an EA continuing to run.

One silver lining is at least having the EA version in the file name made this error obvious. Otherwise it would have been very difficult to figure out the reason.

Hi Mahmut,

I have changed the multiplier code = 1 for the MPTM EA as you suggested but the same problem happened again this a.m. Shortly after 6 am gmt, two shorts were sent and both closed almost immediately beccause stop loss hit.

I have since removed the MPTM EA again.

Attached below is the experts log.

Hi Peter,

Hmm, I am not familiar with the MPTM and there are a few versions around. There must be another similar condition that calculates stop loss to 0 when the crim reports Digits = 0 for the MPTM.

I can see log lines such as
06:08:32 MPTM 30+0 PC1 JS30.mq4 mod GBPJPY,Weekly: Alert: Stop loss hit. Close of US30 ticket no 107792
which confirm it is the MPTM.

Perhaps you can contact Steve to resolve it. If he is busy I can give it a shot if you can post the version you are using.

I would suggest remove MPTM as you have already done for the time being. The swingOne EA sets the stoploss as well so there is no reason to run MPTM for stop loss alone.

I would not like to take up any more of your time. I would just avoid using MPTM for managing Swingone's trades.

I use MPTM to part close at breakeven, and it is a luxury I can easily do without.

Mahmut,

This is what I have just learnt: the only solution should be to do a complete clean up of Empty4, and reinstallation. Particularly if trading real money.

Because even after three restarts, the 1.9.5 has traded again.

Please see the chart, and the log.

I have temporarily shut down the demo until I have time to do the clean up and the new installation.

I'm pretty sure if you find the ex4 and mq4 files that go with the older version and rename them and then reboot your PC/Server it won't run again.

For fun, can you click on the Window menu item and make sure that your don't have another chart window up that is not showing up in the chart tabs along the bottom?

The script should have created a file in the experts\files directory....
