maybe i'm bit late to the party.. but i've started a demo on this too, with ootb settings except for start/send day=16 & sendhour=20. Looking at all the analysis on which day is better, I was wondering whether anyone had considered running a new OAM basket for every working day, so as to average results & avoid picking just a bad day? or is that a nutty idea?? thanks for the ideas & work steve (i'm just starting to explore EAs & trying some ea coding). cheers padnoter |

Yes. Not sure why these are separate inputs - probably because I developed the indi, then the simulator from the indi, then the trader from the sim. This can be refined in the future, but for now it ain't bust etc Get in on day 17. A couple of members have mentioned that their sims showed this to be the single most profitable day on which to enter the trades. Bear in mind the everlastingly true equation that was probably created a long time before the dawn of time: different crims = different feeds = different results. Having said that, the MN1 is moving one way or t'other. How different can everything be? |

Thinking today is day 17 I dropped it onto my GP demo only for it to show it was day 15 today so went and dropped it on an Oanda demo which did show day 17 |

Steve, It looks like the pairs listed in the "input pairs to trade" in my demo had sent all trade a few seconds one after the other. It is either long or short. Just want to suggest if it would be possible to include a code selecting a short only (or long only) trades. I know I can do that in the common tab, but a coded one is more convenient I guessed. This will allow me to drop the EA in another screen with different magic no. to send a hedge on a losing trades. Exciting ha! Thank you Steve for sharing. Haggadah. |

My day 15 Profit 33% trades have been triggered correctly this morning. 5 of them have already closed in profit for a total of 300 pips. Open positions (34 trades) have increased in the wrong side to a total of -720 pips. Closing everything now would still leave me with positive profit (around 270 pips). |

I just have this thought that may optimize the OAM EA TP. What if each pair may have an optimum day to open to get the most profit. Something like let's say, for pairs like AUDUSD, AUDCAD and AUDCHF - day 5 will have the most profits. Then for EURCAD, CADJPY and USDCHF - day 14 have the most profits. If we have this info, we can have a certain basket for each day to open. I have no data to support this theory but I started making a spreadsheet with this info using the monthly analysis indicator. What do you think guys? |

You want to hedge trades, then hedge them. I am not going to add extra complication to the EA just to save you from a bit of trade-sending. |
