Hi Peter again,
For currencies like EURGBP, and some slower USD's like AUDUSD and NZDUSD you may want to use the RSI setting of 5, as this gets hit more often, and are not as fast as EURJPY, GBPJPY, or GBPAUD.

Hope this helps, Charles

Hey Charles,

Thanks for your generosity in sharing the EA and keeping things up-to-date

I am in the process of upgrading my VPS subscription, and then I'll have lots of space + resources to test the EA (different pairs and scenarios) and offer some useful feedback as well

Cheers!

Hi Charles,
thanks for your advice. I set RSI to 5 on EURGBP and EURCHF.
What I meant before about the logic is that I think that beside the RSI extreme entry and exit logic I believe that there is another logic built in causing the entries and exits the way I posted it on my charts before.
Maybe there is a time issue like when a certain amount of time goes by a series is closed without RSI-extreme or something else. I simply don't know but as I see how well thought all the logic is built up for this EA I can not believe that it's a bug causing the exits and entries outside the RSI-extreme logic.

Anyhow I will be on vacations for 3 weeks starting from Sunday and hope to find good results when I come back.

hi Charles

I'm teestar the EA on multiple pairs.

What I think is lacking in EA, is the option of choice in trigger tralingstop, from a certain level.

For example, the tralingstop only be fired from level 5, 6 or that the trader selects, I think it could lower the risk, when the level gets to be too high.

I would be grateful if this option was available.

thanks and continuation of excellent work.

HI Ruiflavius,

I understand your thinking here, but I wonder if you have read all that I have written on page 6 of this topic, as YES there is risk when the EA goes down in the levels BUT it is this risk which earns you the rewards when the price reverses to the other extreme. IF you want to use a 'trailing stop' for example you run the risk that the BASKET of trades don't reach breakeven, or they don't reach their full potential, and it is this potential which is the true KICKER of the system and being patient for a currency to rewind is what gives the power to this system.

As I have said before, this EA is decompiled which makes it very very difficult to change/modify any code. If there was a coder prepared to take onboard the concerns of the group and have a go at fixing some of the code for all to enjoy, then I hope that a someone would show themselves and help, as I HAVE NO CODING experience, and can only recommend what I have all along which is -

BE PATIENT and ENJOY THE REWARD when price goes EXTREME and then back the other way. Also, there is a list below here with the currencies as best for retracing IMHO, so if you use the OOTB file from last page (6) and work from this list then all is fine!!! :) :) :) . See below -

Regards, Charles

Note for all - Currencies best suited for this EA (order as below)

EURUSD, AUDUSD, GBPUSD, USDCHF,USDJPY, EURGBP, EURJPY, GBPJPY, CHFJPY, AUDJPY, NZDJPY, GBPAUD, GBPNZD, EURNZD, AUDNZD, CADCHF, EURCHF (slow) ---- (best)

USDCAD, AUDCAD, CADJPY, NZDCAD, GBPCAD, GBPCHF, EURCAD, EURAUD, AUDCHF, NZDCHF, - not as best as don't retrace as often

Also, this is my opinion, other may have theirs or their risk adverseness, so please re-read what I have written on page 6, and DEFINITELY DO NOT use GOLD with this EA.
BUT, if you want to and you have $10k + then use a 30 min TF, RSI 11, with step lots set to 250 -500 (your choice), lot multi to 1.5 and you will reap huge, but beware as GOLD burns bad when trends heavy up to $60-100 without retrace!!!

Hope this helps and I am now running out of more comments to add here!!! Maybe one day I write a PDF for this EA with all the enjoyments and pitfalls this EA has to offer. Add a comment if that be helpful rather than reading my exhaustive thinking over 7 pages now!!!   ( GO ME!!!)

Thanks for the reply, I have read carefully all of this this topic, and so I already have the EA to work. :)

Was only a suggestion, and I just putted the Trailing working from a certain level, type 10/12.

But I will continue to test and work with EA.

Thank you

You are correct, it is not doing good with me and I have stopped testing it as its DD is very high and only might be profitable with large accounts on long term.

Big DD's ?? Hmmm ... I haven't - btw are you using this bot on H4 ? Mine doesn't have high DD's - but I run this EA on H4 only - no testing on lower TF !

HI Muhammed,

Hmmmm, not patient and waiting for extremes. Yes, DD is higher than some but THIS IS NOT A SCALPER!!!! :arrrg: :arrrg: :arrrg: .............ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ........WAIT FOR THE EXTREMES.

And then enjoy the reward, as this earns good money in the LONG term.

Maybe the story of the Tortoise and the Hare is good here.

Maybe too quick to judge, as this a sleeping giant if left alone, also maybe sleeping as market quiet volatility at the moment as does better with more price movement.

As for bigger accounts, my suggestion has always been $1000 min. with 5 - 10 currencies, and choose your risk from 1:$100 to 1:$300 in ratio from currency to dollars.

Regards, Charles
