I've been testing this EA out and like the entries a lot but currently we need to use MPTM to manage the basket of trades to close at a percentage balance profit.

I hope Steve doesnt mind but i modified the code to allow testing of basket closures, run GU from beginning of Aug on M15 and the results are very nice also the same for GA. All my edits are commented.

The settings are as follows:

So either enter a fixed cash value or a percentage of current balance for a Sl and Tp.

This really shows good potential i think the tricky bit is finding the right trade management settings now.

I am not totally convinced about individual pair baskets unless they are run separately. What I mean is that the current FBob allows winning pairs to maximize their potential and mops up the losing pairs when the % equity gain is hit. If we cap the winners they have no chance to offset the losers. It should still work but I think it will reduce profits overall for FB - it will be interesting to see!

However if we are just targeting individual currencies e.g. GU as tested, then it is just a different (and perhaps complimentary) approach.

At present I am happy testing as a whole basket (see below) :yahoo:

But I will happily shove a couple of individual tests up too.

Please don't ask for set files etc as I have had to amend settings a couple of times so there is nothing definitive to give you.

I am also running a test with my broker, Demo for now.

The results are so bad because I have been messing with the manager, the first day was SL of 25 and tp of 10, you can see that didnt work well at all, now its using ATR... Its looking better. :good:

I use even the first version "1" (not 1a) posted !
The only importent difference: I changed in the MPTM the value for basket TP from 2% to only 1% !

I use all pairs GP is offering and applying.
Nothing special - "nearly" OOTB on M15, but: basket TP = 1% ! :youknow:
