Hi,

I want to do backtesting of HGI system on last 6 months data.

However i m not able to go back to previous weeks' screen. Everytime i try to do it by dragging screen to right, screen again rolls back to current week's data.

Can some one pls help me.

ok finally taking trades, but all the pending orders are being duplicated so when they open I have duplicate trades running, also the range trades are getting hit, Friday maybe, don't know

Probably double appearence of Trend-arrow, triggering 2 sets of pendings.

Check if you have multiple pending orders activated. It was put in to try and follow how Bob trades this manually. There is multi pendings optons for both rad and range trades. They are both set to 5 positions each (in addition to the trades specified in number allowed trades) ootb.
If not then I have no idea :smile:

If I want to update my EA I close down Empty4, replace the EA.mq4 and delete the EA.ex4.
After restart, on all charts the new updated EA runs with old settings though.

I may be completely misguided here, but doesn't the ex4 contain your settings? It is only generated after an mql4 code (of any kind) is run for the first time on a certain terminal.
Pretty sure that isn`t the case... try this to prove your theory... save a setfile from your current EA settings... shut down, delete the mq4 & ex4 file, copy new EA to folder restart and check your EA settings... still the same...Magic? Dunno but this is the case, maybe someone else can enlighten us...

Maybe the ex4 just stores global variables or is nothing more than just compiled code. As for the EA finding and loading the correct setfile; well at least crapperquotes can do something properly :smile:

Hi,

I need to understand about wavy lines.

Steve has posted this image (I included some numbers to my questions):

In your booklet Bob shows:
HGI Bob1.JPG
HGI Bob3.JPG
HGI Bob2.JPG
HGI Bob4.JPG
So, I don´t understand why Steve say for example at point 2 in your image "on TOP: we are exiting into downtrend". At this point was wavy lines with big red arrow. For me it´s a contradiction with the Bob statements in your booklet.

Someone can explain me please?
