This W failed. But price returned in this area 15min later [another SH?] H1 and H4 pins formed.



"Take RRT at Daily/H4" they said in main thread. There are lots of failed W/M at higher timeframes too. PA is same but takes more time. If I cant trade at Daily/Weekly cycles it gonna be waste of time trying to catch level3 trades at Monthly cycles [D1 candles].

I think that CJ's method is not that easy as "just 3 levels + RRT" if only two people from thread can use it and have over 80% accuracy? CJ and sympathy have some knowledge that they practice and develop "feeling" of turning points. CJ retire from forex and dont post trades anymore, sympathy spam his trades without explanations or with levels which sometimes shift next few days. Dudest has his own "abc" style which differs from CJ's [no lines/fibs at charts -PA only]. As for other I dont remember any active member who has constant high acurracy trades and willingness to help newbies.

Adapting 3 levels to charts without underlying reasons is useless in terms of education. You aint gonna understand why airplane fly even if you spend all your life watching. Pins/RRTs work only in specific areas, but all attention in main thread is focused on subjective level drawing [sometimes after pins, W's/M's at levlel 3 price continue in same direction explanation is "oh another level up/down" or "price MAY not SHOULD reverse after L3"]. Also nobody explain why SH incoming/wont happen after M/W, when and why its over [how do you know fox get enough volume or not]. Why some W's/M's below/above asian are not SH but pause during real move etc.

I can answer all these questions on my own but only AFTERWARDS [that wasnt lvl3, they made SH here, gather enough volume there etc.]. Nobody explain it in real time. Keep on struggling on my own.

I feel the same and I have the same questions in my head.

My solution:
"There is no good answer to the question of why does W, M, pin, RRT, etc. not work.

But I look at it this way: my effectiveness now is about 18-20% (3 months ago was 10% or less), my R :R now 2:1 (3 months ago was 1: 1)

I see progress

To make money need accuracy of 50% and R:R 3: 1

practice, practice, practice

However sympathy post perfect entry trades with 0 drawdown almost every day. Sometimes he take trades off H1 levles , sometemis of H4 or even M15. His decisions are based on something more than just 3 levels on one timeframe.

He have rectangles on his charts "i just use them for a reminder". Perhaps he use something else but dont mention it and not mark at chart [maybe he think its not important [fibs/round numbers/ S/R levels etc]].

No doubt hes good trader. But he cant accessibly explain how he combine information from different sources and timeframes. And once again levels are subjective he draw them in his own unique way.

Gonna re-read thread maybe I find something usefull.

Sympathy uses. RectangleReader indicator from this forum http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=428204
This indicator is used to draw areas of Supply and Demand.

I think Sympathy combined both techniques, hight TF (W1, D1, H4), she (he) mark S/D areas in accordance with the "Supply and demand in a nutshell by Alfonso Moreno," and enter in order to CJ's methods (H1, M15)

Hello, jedrula. Thats called money management, there are a lot of books about it. Yes its part of CJ's method [enter at RRT have huge R:R] but not the crucial one. This thing could be applied to any strategy.

It does not matter if we take small loss when we know that we have a good R:R and enough accuracy.

I've got your point about R:R [the more R:R you have the less accuracy you need to be profitable], but looks like you didnt understand me. MM could be applied to ANY strategy, you can trade even MA cross with enough R:R.

As you said "when we know that we have a good R:R and enough accuracy", these accuracy [ability to detect REAL turning points] and knowledge that after RRT price WILL move in desired direction to give us enough R:R should be provided by trading strategy [CJ's method in our case]. Sympathy and CJ have over 90% accuracy. I doubt I have better than flipping coin yet.

This green line is for him as the point where he is looking for other points mentioned by the CJ.

What's the line?

He mark potencial point of reversal, He uses Rectangle Reader as once he said "for visual purposes" and not as in FF thread just only for mark S/D areas.
He mark that point we are looking for. And I think thats the clue.

Of course, we do not need Rectangle Reader, just put a line on chart. After all is easy to find 1,2,3 M, W etc.

It means:

First, find potential point of reversal and then count levels. If this is the third level or seems with it is like 3 next step is to search for the instructions given by CJ. (SH, M, W, etc).

Another matter of finding these points and their correct designation is as difficult as counting levels.
Easy to see that these are the areas in the vicinity of the S / D

In this case, I remarked blue circle which can be crucial.


When we go to our entry time frame (i.e. M15) situation looks like this:

And I expect that he is looking to enter shorts perhaps only to scalp a few pips.
I mean not now cos it is not 3 level or 3 push.

If he will have profit he would post the chart on the forum if he does not have profit
change the upper zone (lift up to the next point) meyby to 120.700
I could be wrong of course, but we can look and see.

Interesting post jedrula.

But as you said - finding correct S/D areas as difficult as counting levels. There is no guarantee that high/low will behave as support/resistance even if price at level3 + chop/pin there. But Sympathy have over 90% winrate somehow

Next Supply zone 150~300 pips higher. We are at L3 at H4 now. No reversal despite level count until next Supply area?
