G'day all,

I have been away for a while sorting some health issues out, but I am very happy to be back, and perfect timing by the looks of things... Been running HGBnD v2 since last Wed 5th, and HGBnD v2b since Fri 7th and here we are at Wed 12th. One week that I am very proud of, and all thanks to Steve, and Tomele's hard work. Many hats off to you both... :hi: :hi: :hi:

Basically I have been running the default settings, with the exception of using the equity to gauge my lot sizing. I started out on Wed at 0.5% (eg Lot: 0.01/Risk %: 1.0/SizeOfDollop=2000) but have found this still a little high as I am running AU, EU, GJ, NU, UC, UChf, and UJ. So I have now reduced this to 0.375% (eg Lot: 0.01/Risk %: 1.0/SizeOfDollop=3000), and is working a treat so far. Will post my results at the end of the month...

I forgot to mention that I opened a $4000 demo account on Wed, so 11.5% is not bad for a week of many ups and downs...

Yes, there was a DD of -2.74%, but the gain was +11.5%. I have attached the chart as it stands today at a DD of -3.19% and a gain of 12.8%. So in affect it is a loss of -$127.57, to a gain of +$512.70, which equals +$385.13 profit if I was to close up shop right now!
Its highest DD was -$267, but the baskets have closed in profit as they should, and it has been floating around the -$81 - -$140 mark, and the margin has been the highest of around -$90, so on a $4000 account it is quite nice. It has only been 8 days, so it will be interesting to see the results at the end of the month, and if it continues this way, I will put it on my live account...

Live Global Prime trading account last week:

This and my manual SUPER CSS.2 trading resulted in a gain of $265 last week.

Not so pretty when you see the list of open orders:

Most of those pairs are hedged and HGBnD will work its way through them.

BUT the account is growing and here is why:

That is the 6 weeks since everybody resumed normal trading after the summer. It is various flavours of Dotty, most of which had faulty code that caused problems until Tomele went on his epic bug hunt.

Tomele and I were speculating on the validity of bothering about the initial trade direction as most of the profit from the various flavours of Dotty, so I coded Blindbot. This sends a grid of buy and sell stops and lets the market do its thing, managing the position with hedging, offsetting etc. I will let you guys have it soon.

A perfect teaser....just to get us interested in the next toy. :D

Blindbot will it be just taking an initial trade without bothering on the trade direction? Could be very helpful to me as I have a set trading for some weeks on the old abandoned RnR (as this didn't bother on direction) with very different settings. And as it turns out that with minimal drawdown I manage to be profitable on this. So a low accountsize, low lotsize, minimal drawdown and somewhat more than 20% gain compared to accountsize last week.

So definitely looking forward to Blindbot :smile:

it will send two grids around current market price and wait which order the market triggers. No initial trade and bias at all.

The full hedge trade is made only if this is set to true (default=false) ???

or is made always and in this case:

""◾ApplyFullHedgeOnOppositeSignal is the input that enables/disables this feature.""

will force the full hedge trade when HGI recommend working ?
