I would like to thank Tomele for sharing his indicator and method , it is great trading with no price action on the chart . I have been on demo since may 22. I messed up a few trades and left some positions to stop out when I think I should have closed them.. Tomele can you confirm that you close any open positions that are going against the trade advice each day ? So if I had a long position from a ranging market trade and the next day the trade advice is market is moving down , I close the long position rather than let it hit the WR3 stop ? But the demo is up 16% max DD 7% which is awesome

very good results , If trade advice is ranging , do you still place pending orders ? do you enter one trade with one target or you like to have three TP targets? Thanks for sharing your experience Regards |

Just stumbled upon this indicator, and I found it very good looking  Thank you tomele for making and sharing this indicator!I saw that you tested this trading method for quite a long time with great results. I have one question to you: how did you calculated the size of your positions? Did you use fixed lot sizes all the time, or a calculated lot size based on risk %, account size and SL distance? I attach some scripts that may be useful for trading this method. They are drag and drop scripts, that means they need to be pulled onto the chart from the navigator menu, and released at the price where you want to place the pending order or modify the tp/sl (it will figure out automatically to use limit or stop orders based on where you put them). I added magic number, and trade comment variables to it, so one can differentiate their orders to use it beside other methods/EAs. In the modify sl and tp scripts there is an OnlyModifyPending variable, default value is true. If you use this then the script will only affect the pending orders, so if there is a filled order managed by the aptm EA it will not interfere with it. The way I use it: just drag the buy/sell scripts onto the pivot points/supports/resistances/whatever, and after I put all of them on the chart, then use the modify TP and SL scripts to adjust it on all the trades simultaneously. |

Thanks very much for sharing this strategy. is it possible to create a dashboard based on the fabulous PivotTrades-3 indicator? since it uses customized definition of pivots so it would take some skills which I simply don't possess. at first i thought there might be something wrong because it's not equal with the usual pivot indicators or calculations, but after i look inside the code i understand now. it would be very helpful to have a glance over a dozen pairs with directions advice every morning. Thanks a lot in advance! |

Hi everyone. Thanks for all your ideas and contributions. At the moment I am lacking the conviction that this system is worth putting more effort into. My results for the last 2 months are near breakeven. If you have better results, let me know. |
