orso has just pm'd me with a problem I introduced when I added code to the core library, to allow the bot to trade in the middle of the charts when invoking sixths. This depends on the new input AllowTradingInTheMiddle that none of the other DB flavours have, so orso's attempt to load HGBnD failed.

The solution is to move this snippet:

from the library to the OnTick() function in the EA.

This does not affect the current version of either the library or the EA here. Just bear in mind that future ea updates will require you to re-download the library.

Okie Dokie,

I hold my head up high with these sets. Nothing turned out the way I wanted it to,,,I guess between all the tweaks I can call this acceptable. You should get much less trades with the latest sets, not more than 5 at any given time, and I trust more profitable.

We are heading into month end and the markets become more volatile, good or bad I dont know but yeah the nature of trading.

All trades closed and I look forward to next week. :good:

The last 2 weeks I have tested this EA using TJF's setfile from page 2. I open Monday, London open and close all Friday, around London close.

This is on demo using 0.01 lot, please notice the equity line above the balance line, this is such a pretty sight :smile:

Brilliant to see the good results mirrored here.

.. Initially I was thinking this strategy using FB and SuperSlope would be a solid counterpart to a hedged breakout grid system I was calling Flying Buddha Grid and still had my trendrangecombo hat on from last year thinking how to put these two ideas together.

Now I feel what we are developing together here could be all that we need. Simple is often best and with Peak High Low embodying the essence of Captain Jack's teachings thanks to Steve, SuperSlope representing Bob and Baluda's great minds and Flying Buddha some ancient wisdom .. this is a strong combo for sure.

Happy weekend everyone. Can't wait until Monday!

V 1b is in post 1. No biggy, so no rush.

There are some inputs that are common to both Sixths and Buy Low, Sell High. I have put them in their own section in between the Sixths and the BLSH inputs.

I have updated the Sixths line display code in line with the Peak HiLo indi, so you will also see the NoOfBarsOnChart and Zoom_Level inputs as well.

Remember to redownload the core library if you decide to download 1b.

The latest version of the core library is at http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... =87&t=5077. It acts in conjunction with a new piece of work by Rene. Please read, "Rene's HGBnD - MultiSymbol - Controller.mq4." in post 1 of the shell thread.

You only need the updated library if you intend using Rene's controller.
