I keep a notepad next to my mouse where I write down the time and the strengths of MN, W1, and D1 of a pair I want to trade. Watch them closely as you will see them moving up or down in column 0 .. this is another secret of 9x9 that will help you decide to take a trade or not.

Remember that the strengths start on M1 and roll thru the grid to MN .. it takes a BUNCH of strength on M1 to move MN.

I've been thinking again .. :uff:

I noticed that when the grid is mostly one color .. you had better have a position open in that direction .. So I did some testing with what I call the "Big Picture" reading. I REALLY like what I'm seeing! So, here it is, a new reading added. Begin and End Big Picture timeframe setting has been added. I found the best setting is the whole grid .. M1 - MN1. Update in post 1.

Also, to those of you following this thread. Bonus time with an EA I thru together today. I think you are going to like this one .. a lot. Steady profit with extremely low DD. It needs to be optimized for each pair.

EDIT: When optimizing the EA, use the M1 period so that all timeframes will be available to the EA. You can use the "Open prices only" model to speed things up.

Optimize:

BigPictureOpen 20-100
BigPictureClose 1-20
StrengthTotal 50-500
