I'm curious, what prompted you to choose those two pairs in the first place?

I like them because EU is the most liquid pair and GJ has the longest continuous trading day of the the main currency combinations.

They are my favorite too.. I say that in the hope that the other pairs will get jealous and bring me more pips.

.. Both very different characteristics so just wanted the comparison. Interestingly the drawdown on both has been similar despite the much higher profit from GJ.

10,000+ pips in under a week is definately some sort of record. Interestingly tonight's news brought EU back to life as it was starting to look like GJ was the only worthwhile option.

GBPJPY had been stuck in a very tight range this week, so perhaps that is the cause, see screenshot

I just feel that i need to thank Steve for updating this EA. Those 130 errors were SO ANNOYING. I had to shut it down because of this.

Yes it's a good point although my first four trades on GJ hit SL from that up move on 15th and it recovered the losses same day. I wouldn't want 30 trades to hit 200pip SL though and that could happen.

The only way I can think of to manage risk is a much higher timeframe. I am going to try D1 next week.

I've been manually running this for a few days on a 4-hourTF on a few pairs, with some missed opportunities during the six hours a night I sleep , and I'm running it on just one pair manually Daily, which is a lot easier because you just have to check it once a day. So far it has gone pretty well. I'm curious what you would use for SL and B/E and jump on the higher timeframes.

I actually think a tighter SL could work on D1.. Around 100pips or ADR and maybe a candlestick trail. Let's compare notes next week.

Version 1c is in post 1. I have suppressed the 'invalid stop' error alert and added code to send an immediate market order when the error is generated.

I am blown away by TJF's set file and have hard coded it as the defaults. I have added a couple of extra inputs to allow the bot to close the position so we can be flat for the weekend. Please read the details in the Versions from 1c onwards section in post 1.

Nothing I can do about those. The bot tries to send a new stop loss and it is rejected by the borker. Change brokers or widen your jumping stop or ignore them.

Do you think its possible to add a global basket close in a later version?

It is impossible to code a single chart trader to close an entire position without causing chaos. Imagine what happens when 15 different instances all discover the position should be closed at the same time.

Use MPTM's global closure function instead. MPTM 'talks' to all my other EA's and tells them to stop doing anything when it is closing all the trades.

Amazing what changing brokers can do.....listened to Steve and opened GP account (demo since stuck in the US)......wasn't having luck with the 2 brokers I have to use....these are the past 24 hour results.
