I downloaded and have been running the ea since a couple of days ago, and it's off to a good start :rocket: , using OOTB settings. With just the 0.01 lot sizes, one set of 5 AUDCHF trades closed for $9.98 profit, and another set of 4 of these AUDCHF was up as high as about $10.50 floating profit (currently back down to only about $1.00 floating profit). What settings would you suggest I vary to test for optimum results? Thank you

Hi all Awesome SS Traders,

Thanks a lot to those who gave feedback and analyse.
Please to find attached an updated version with 2 new important features:

- MinimumDistanceBetweenAllTrades
- UseBasketCashJumpTakeProfit

MinimumDistanceBetweenAllTrades is clear enough now, I do not add any comment.

UseBasketCashJumpTakeProfit and its brother UseBasketCashPercentageJumpTarget is according to me a very important feature, only for people who use the BasketGlobalProfit.
This is also my case most part of the time. The people who followed my message could understand that for me MM is not only a part of the success, it is the success.
I decided not to have a fix target, but to let the winners run as the pros are saying.
For the moment, you could use this feature to jump a Global Stop Loss and could enjoy the trend behaviour.
In the code all trades are closed either at 100$ or at 1% account balance. But before there are 10 steps that allow you to protect your profit. You can change these steps values directly in the code, not in the interface.
I am aware that the programming method is not the best and we could improve that very soon but I would like to keep a big flexibility...if some of you have ideas...

Try it and love it !

Brilliant! :hi: great to see you still coming up with ideas. This thread is basically yours so I would love to be able to post your 1c in post 1 but I dont have the authority, maybe Steve or one of the Admins is in a kind mood and can help us, also why dont you add the Gann code, as long as we have the ability to switch features on and off without effecting the original bot? Otherwise we will end up with lots of different versions, which will dilute the testing phase. What do you think? :smile:

Btw all my 4 systems including the live version are still 100% with no losses, thanks again for the original concept.

There are my first week results with Awesome+SS ver.1r.
+192€ in Equity profit with very small DD is not bad at all :clap: Main action was in M5 but M15 also contributed nicely.

I'm using 2SS, M5 and M15 with ootb settings (I added emergency SL 150 pips), Peaky 1D/1682, Fill the gap 70/6.
I'm not greedy, so Global Basket target is 10€ and Symbol Basket target is 3€. So far works perfectly.
Recovery is set to false and none was needed so far but I'm curious how it works, so I will set up another account with recovery next week.
I noticed that there are many same pair and same tf trades opening exactly at the same time or just some pips/seconds apart. I'm not sure if it was designed that way but this can be dangerous. Hopefully MinimumDistanceBetweenAllTrades will solve this.

This is standard EA behavior but the minimum distance function stops it from happening.

There is 1 such input per timeframe which keeps track of the pip distance between signals
and now the updated EA version posted by letsarb has another input which looks at ALL trades.
This input is located under the Gann settings.

My experience with these settings is that they both help with the DD
but after watching them both over a number of weeks, I prefer the 2nd.

Some people will say that if we stop duplicate trades we don't understand the 4 TF strategy
but it is a dangerous path to take and this is what one day will blow our account.

When using this feature, if the EA wants to place 2 trades,
For example, 1 trade from the 5min and 1 from the 15min
The 2nd trade will not be allowed to be placed if it falls withing the minimum set distance.

This feature will reduce the number of 15min trades significantly and many of Nev's green bars on his 15min reports will disappear, so I suggest that he leaves his settings as they are for now, and if he wants to use the minimum distance inputs he should open a new demo account.

Note: A significant reduction in the 15min trades doesn't necessarily mean significantly less overall trades
because many of those 15m trades will be replaced by the fill gap function.
