Cheers mate! I'm glad you can follow along easy. EA's are fun and all but my advice to everyone on this forum is learn to trade this stuff manually. If one day one of The Hopwood Crackheads stumble across the holy grail you'll all be the first to know. It's very rewarding for the coders and a lot of fun but if you want to learn to TRADE then there's no substitution.

Watching the markets breathe day in and day out is breathtaking when you feel like you have a handle on what it's going to do next. 10.2/a can get you there but you won't get it unless you are consistently trading a single variant of these strategies. If you jump around trying to get these crazy EA's to work you are wasting time unless you understand 10.2 / The Beast and know what they are doing.

And Bunker you seem like you have a handle on things so please, continue.

I haven't researched how The Beast trades but be careful with holding the counter-trend trades based on H1 slope values. It may only be a small retracement and then continue with the trend. A counter trend trade based on H1 should only be held if H4 follows and then held even longer if D1 follows. Hope this makes sense but good luck coding that up, it hurts my brain just thinking about it.

Your risk is way, way too high. Sooner, rather than later you would blow your account. Even if you could stomach that amount of drawdown, you would be gambling, not trading. Consider too that you would have been trading other pairs which effect your floating DD.

Steve, I have been looking at Slopey Beast in visual mode in the Empty4 tester. I am not seeing any pending counter trend trades being placed. Maybe Slopey is a little to sophisticated for the lousy tester though. I am seeing very delicious white box trades. I think slope will be huge in the white box. This is with hedging off. I think this will be a big plus for us in the US. Looking forward to seeing this on a Demo next week.

Most likely Slope will be showing the opposite direction by then, so ct trades will not happen. We will probably find that Slope cannot be applied to Sixths trading.
