Hi All,
Starting with updating and adding new systems.

SOme interesting notes to point out for the road ahead,

- Banzak, i'm really liking what he is doing in his thread, Bears and Bulls has serious potential in my opinion, we shall see.

- RJo is outdoing himself again, demos coming up over week end.

- BigMac everything, also on the list but might take a while to get demos set up as there is a lot of reading to catch up on.

- Xmeter, i learnt a lot about from recent posts and market activity, JL had pointed out the importance of the lookbackbars, (default at 84) some time ago and Alex_Forex, who read the french forums for us pointed out the Frenchies like a setting of 30. I think this needs to be looked at again because when all the xmeters were trying to sell XXXJPY, with the setting at 84, i had buys from Xmeters at 30 and 20. Food for thought from Shelley, and JL's views too. Thanks people.
Going to consolidate demos to allow for new EA's, changing all settings on all Xmeters i'm running, including live.

- Gday 2 is on the cards again, my terminal running that demo was the culprit for me ending that demo, will start up a new installation this week end for this. Thank you Shelley and Steve.

- Bobs Balls are getting bigger and more attention now! Thank you Steve Paul, Bob. People, please pay attention to Pauls new indi, great stuff there. :lol:

- Harry45 sent me a version of 2sides he translated for us to English, i really like this EA, going to start a thread for it if someone wants to pick up the coding for it, they can OWN the thread from me if anyone is interested and has the time. Link will follow to main website for this EA but worth a look. Had to use MPTM here and account started to rock with this. Will explain more in thread. Thank you Harry.

- Dropping Charles EA, too many open trades and DD starting to build up to unacceptable levels, even though positions are closing in profit, dont/wouldnt run this live so leaving this one alone. Havent tried MPTM here if someone wants to give it a shot. Whoosh.

- Trendy Gary is still rocking on my original demo, will get that running shortly on fxbook. New demo is crashing, have no idea why, will look into that shortly.

- Simple Beast mod by JL is doing a surprise number on me, really happy to have got this demo working. Thank you Ribello, Pippo and JL for keeping this one going.

-10.2 and MULTIBOB trended nicely, all versions as we expect from 10.2. Dropping the metals from it as the losses there hurt the account more than they help.

-FRobot had serious hassles with the JPY pairs again. I think its time to drop the JPY pairs altogether, this is the second time i've got caught out with FR on those pairs. Gotta learn some time. Two demos running here, one is more aggressive, but both took a hiding and are in level-gazillion of recovery like xmeter. Going to drop JPY, AUD and NZD pairs off this EA andf see what happens. Waiting for DC's v10 due when its ready.

-Going to post the last settings for Wolfie and Balls EA's. They were the last of the charts left that showed some hope. Right now, they win some then lose some. But would nt go live as they are.

- Pivoty and Slopey Slope are history. Cant get them to be more accurate/profitable and platforms are needed for newer EA's.

Hi All,
completed two systems by using another method to get the demos to update.
One problem that has popped up is that we cannot see the 'comments' column now, so have emailed support to see if there is a fix for this.
Its important EG, when MultiBob takes a trade, is it a trend, pivot.
When xmeter is in DD, what L# level is it in? etc.
We can only clearly tell from the comments column.

There were a few users 'watching' the older platforms that had to be re-newed, please can you look for the newer update and 'watch' those. I have to delete the older ones that stopped updating on the 24th of Dec.

Will complete the last 3 PC systems in the course of the week i hope, and include the EA's i still have to add like BM and Rjo's EA's.

I felt the same and then early this morning i got a response from the fxbook team that they had now linked my accounts again.

It turns out my crim, ava, had set up a new demo server and moved mine across, then there would obviously be a new IP address with a new demo name for the system on fxpagebook thinies list when one 'connects' the terminals. Well, the new one was'nt showing up but it is now, so i have to re-do everything again, :roll:

But on a good note, we going to have all the comments and stuff showing up as normal again and hopefullt the new demo server will provide adequate bandwidth to handle more demos.

PS: please give me a few more days and all should be beck to normal soon so dont 'watch' anything yet until i post here that all is done and no more swapping over.

I really do feel like i'm all dressed up and nowhere to go. :D

Anyways, here is a little update on all the xmeters.
I am very happy to see most of the EA's have closed the losing positions now that they have moved into profit. There was one that worried me through the process, although it did very well if you look at the figures, i still wanted to make these changes to it. The one downloaded form the live site, that MarcelloT is also demoing came close to margin, so i've changed the TFilter to five, lowered the spread to 6 and widened the grid to 35. Posted the set file on the fxpage thingy for all to compare if they like.
JL's system of Follow and Hedge has been exteremely profitable except for one which still has to close. Heres the link to see that system trying to get out of the NZDJPY trend that we expereiced recently, ALL the others have been terrific. Remener this system battling a bit took over these positions from a previous EA that wasnt using the filters that v2.3.7 has built-in so its recovering nicely considering this.

I'm liking using the indi xmeter only to get the EA to make a trade and once it has its pairs, it seems like a good idea to turn the stoch or rsx on AFTER it has taken its positions. Anyone tried this? Please let us know.

FRobot has also come back nicely even though still in high DD it has held on to the psotions as per my settings and very happy about that.

Bob's Bot has come back nicely too, but still takes ONE single big hit, and then the several smaller porfitable closures are needed to make up for the hit and a little profit. Looking to scale down pairs that lose consistantly and if this dont work, i might be canning this one. Growth has been very slow compared to others.

No demos got blown except one of my live markets.com account. My stupidity and over-trading again.

Updating one more system this morning, so 2 more to go. Soon we'll be back to normal.

going to be updating the new EA's such as BBBE and Bears n Bulls. I'm liking these a lot. Banzak is doing something stellar with his EA.

2Sides that Harry45 sent me is showing promise so looking closely at that one now, albeit i might be trading it a in an un-othodox manner, but its still kicking butt. MPTM is used here. Out of all the new EA's i think this one i like the most so far because it buys and sells at the same time, so although you're going nowhere, you see 'green' on your charts from the start. Keeps the DD down and then chooses which direction to continue in. Revovery also looks ingenious here.

Thats all i can think of right now, will keep you all posted,

Oh my gosh georgie, where do you keep all the EA's? One computer? Bill Gate's private server mabey? I just had a look, there must be 40 or 50 of them...Oh....the CPU!!!!

Hi All,
Its nearly month-end so trying to finish the updates this week-end before the madness kicks in.
Heres my first of 2 posts about EA's tested, explaining what stays , whats new and whats headed to file13.
Also, starting to prepare for my annual systems upgrades so might throw in some Win8 systems with the re-installs. Probably dropping both XP systems.

Firstly, the Xmeters. all doing well now, one or two still battling JPY, but all basically under control. Massive developments by JL (The Machine), with several demos running on his releases. I am stopping a few which are not necessary and consolidating to the latest and anticipating JL's new 'auto' Evolution and the various set files. Leaving some platforms aside for those as i dont think i will be stopping the FP6,7Lite, V2.3.7, Speed V3 and V3-reloaded platforms. Also running an old test with MarcelloT and V2.2.2 FP1 from old thread. The only major change i might bring in here is the size of the initial trade, from a default of 0.05%, down to 0.03%. This will definately slow growth down, but in view of recent market movements, this would be a much safer position to come into trade, and then see how those results compare before deciding which is better. Happy with all the params after that.

Bears n Bulls. The new star on the block seems to be Banzak with his Bears 'n' Bulls EA. I am running all his versions and cant seem to let go of any as they have'nt lost yet. All running OOTB because when i tried to mess around, i found myself more confused and went back to OOTB. Must do some reading in his thread here. Still have to start a new platform for 1.04a.

Gday 2 has finally broken the drought and come out of hiding. Started to trade properly on the 23rd and subsequently did well for the 24th and 25th. This bot did very well this week so leaving this as-is. 3 open trades ATM and all winning.

Bobs Bot v1d is still chugging along and shown some handsome profits lately since some changes. Still below where it started but catching up, so leaving this as-is also. Still showing lots of small wins and then the odd big loser comes along. Lets see if these were older positions before the settings change.

FR 9.02 is still in massive DD. Both have my extended L# settings and not closing so the recent JPY movement has really hurt this EA. If it was closing the Losers i might have been in a better position with new trades, but want to wait this through and see what happens. One platform is more aggressive than the other and the results show exactly this. Happy to carry on here, but have removed JPY pairs as per Wapens settings for future positions.

Daybreaker v1 us starting now to show some progress after some bad losses in the beginning , lets leave this one for a little while longer. This one reminds me a lot of Balls and Wolfie. Can make or break very quickly thats why its nice to maybe trade this one once a day as described in post 1.

BBBE v1.1.1A is finally coming out of his shell, so lets see now that we have a decent growth curve forming. It seems like all other 10.2's that the style needs the trend to happen or be happening for a while before positive results begin to surface. Using Alex_Forex's set files here as mine were going nowhere. Paul continues to amaze with his coding skills.

Thats it for the first 2 systems, now going to update FXPAGE book thingy and then finsish with one more post for the last 3 systems.
