As above post but HGB 'n Grid on H4 on micro account, only running for couple of days AU,EA,EG,EJ,EU,GA,GC,GJ,GU,UC,UJ (UC and AU added near W/E) Here are the results and setfile (for a micro account that trades $1,000 lots at real amount rather than cent account maked as $, so unusual configuration and very confusing for trade managers  )Results for a Demo running HGB_experimental for the week without filters And the setfile: Again :hi: to Steve, Bob et al |

Morning all, My results for this week, 10K GP with the single MA filter and semaphor options enabled. As you can see its a very different result from most people here - I must be the only person in the red. NFP alone hit the account for about 4% I've been deliberately trying odd combinations of settings to see if I can find the ones that don't work but next week I think I will go with your SET file Woodlands. |

An excellent last week topped off a wonderful month. My live results for the previous month, using Bob's trend filter: Those GJ losses came from my failed experiment with GW and from a basket of HGBnG trades I closed manually before you guys stepped in with so many sophisticated ideas to improve him. Last week: GU is the star of the show. I have an unbalanced hedged GU position at the mo, so interesting to see what happens to that next week. I have Tony to thank for most of the EU. The pair had already generated some semafor high signals when Tony reminded us about NFP. It was a bit of a non-event but beforehand I decided not to risk the market heading back down south and closed them. That single loser is one I closed manually. DD is $900, down from $1100 at market close last week so you can argue that I did not make any actual money last week - or you could regard it as my working capital that generated about a 90% return. Let's go with the latter as it sounds better.  The only problem is that it ties up margin. DD has been as low as $150, so I think that if it reaches that level again, I will close out, bank the profits and start again.I am not sure the function intended to close the winning side of a hedged position on a retrace from a semafor signal is working properly. It looks to me as though my UC sells should have been closed a couple of times but they are still open. This has worked in my favour so far, but it would be better to have the code working properly, so I will look at it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I restarted the 'full on' demo in light if recent developments in the bot's trading methods. This is the demo where I have HGBnG loaded onto every standard forex pair and no manual intervention, using Bob's trend filter: DD is $800 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This one used to be HGB and his Ma in a Hedge, so using tnavi's filter and also with no manual intervention: Good headline figure, but the DD is not far short of the profit. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have saved the best demo until last. The experimental version without trend filter: DD $143 and has never been high. Outstanding. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We all know what a magnificent forum SHF is but even by our standards the last month has been phenomenal. Congratulations to all of us.  |

Hands free. Not sure I would do live, given the ridiculously profitable positions is sometimes builds up.  |

Only a very few in the retail forex world have such dilemmas I would wager. My HGBnGX demo is also doing phenomenally Many thanks to Steve et al
