Now, the ABC is a great high probability/low risk pattern (probably my favourite one from this thread), but only if the entry is correct. I guess by waiting for price to move off the "c" point you are getting some "confirmation", but to really trade this pattern in a low-risk way, you gotta kind of anticipate the "c" before it's formed. That way you can place pending orders around that level, and place your stops 5-10 pips below "b" - which price should rarely touch on a working pattern.

Maybe Dudest or someone else can correct me if I'm wrong, but that's the way I assumed this pattern was meant to be played from the many examples posted in this forum

Closed out USDTRY shorts today when realized it is forming a rising wedge! (happy it covered previous losses). Switched to longs at wedge boundary

USDCHF was also forming a rising wedge undercover at VBRN 1.0000 !! Also long that (seems Big Predators are trying to take it back to where it was pre-SNB)
