Guys, seems the matrix doesn't match the HGI v17 signals.

Hi Rene, I have loaded the Matrix , correct version HGIMatrixMTFv33 and HGI_v17.00 but at the moment I am getting mostly blank black boxes except for one box which is showing the last bar symbol. I have read through the thread again but can't see anything that could tell me what's going wrong. Any help will be welcome. Regards Oldfella |

I am running the L versions which I understand is a little quicker but uses the 16.09 HGI. The only obvious thing may be your specifying the pairs to be shown and the time frames. I have had no issues so can't help much more. Maybe post your set file for Matrix and let someone of us look over it ? Cheers, AltosT I am off to bed now tho. |

The L version does not use the 16.09 HGI indicator. It uses the HGI Library (hgi_lib.ex4). But, yes, it is a lot quicker to load and update. |

Hi Rene, I am now in action, all symbols showing with arrows wavy lines etc; on H4,H1 and M15. I do not know if anyone else has had the following happen on any screen that they have attached the Matrix too. When I place either a horizontal or vertical line on a screen with HGIMatrixMTFv33 loaded I cannot move or remove it, by highlighting the line and moving it, or right clicking the mouse and delete. I can delete via the objects list. Regards Oldfella |

Hi Alessandro, I am still using this great tool to this very day, a very useful tool indeed  My Gut feeling is that with Hgi v17.00 you have "Use Hurst filter" enabled with the Hgi indicator and Hurst disabled in the matrix or vice versa, both need to be the same. I simply use the Hgi matrix v32 and not 32L and with the Hgi indicator I use V16.09 and not v17.00. Correct me if i am wrong, but never had a problem with the matrix signal disagreeing with the chart Hgi signal. Cheers Leon |

Hi Leon, much appreciated your help. I'm currently using the matrix v33 (non L version) with HGI v17. I confirm in HGI indicator i have usehurstfilter=false In matrix i have showhurst=true / showonlyhurst=false I don't know if you were referring to such parameters...Do you think is wrong? Thank you |

You are entering into a whole new world. Default settings for Hgi indicator chart refresh delay is 30 seconds. I assume the matrix is programmed at a set refresh or Candle close. In my mind the matrix is a good indication of where the signals are. However if you are trading smaller timeframes you will get what you are seeing now. Hgi was designed by Bob to trade the 4 hour timeframe in the first place. Anything below you are looking for a needle in a haystack. Cheers Leon |
