"Repainting" is quite a controversial subject but I can say that any of these indi's with ignoreFuture set to true should not change any historical bars once the current bar has closed. I think some convincing evidence would need to be provided for this to be looked in to in detail (I haven't seen any change). Screenshots might be the best bet? Even then I can't guarantee it will be looked at as I am pretty clueless with code and no-one else has raised this issue.ernest02 wrote: My two questions are these:

My understanding is that this is an issue with Empty4 and there is nothing that can be done about it in terms of a direct "fix". However I think you will find that switching timeframe of the chart to another timeframe and then back again will refresh the indi. This is a pain in itself if you have lots of charts but I have added a script below that will allow you to change the timeframe for all charts in one go. Just put it in Experts\scripts folder and restart Empty4. The easiest way to use this imo is to save a couple of copies of the script (using metaeditor) changing the following line as required, saving as a timeframe name (e.g. Chg-TF-M5) and recompiling:
