all the needed files are where they should be, I think, and as you can see on the attached image, only the 1440 TM with the MA 40 shows those RSI zero's... Have used refresh, changed time frames, etc. weird huh?

Already very useful, the way it is now. Thank you very much for sharing your work!

OK. The problem is we are taking the smallest number of bars possible for the sake of efficiency. This little indi is doing a ton of work for each value... There are simply not enough bars in the dataset to get the value for the higher TF. Here is a version that lets you put in a higher value for maxBars. 100 works fine for daily. I can't see the performance difference on my box... but at some point someone will ;)

I too have the same problem. The RSI value doesn't seem to match with what I see in the related chart using 10.4 template. Could someone post the latest indi which is working fine. Thx.

Not sure what the deal is with the higher TF. I use a lower (240 & 60) and it works as intended. I'll look when I get a chance. The code is there to tweak as you like. My time is limited. Sorry.
No problem, mwjs00, you're one of those people who always try to help others if they can, cheers for that. It's important that the calculations for the higher TF's are done correctly; 'till someone sorts the code out, we'll just have to keep in mind that a zero value for the RSI has to be taken with causion, at least for the higher time frames - better check yourself, to see if the RSI really dropped to the bottom of the indicator window :)

It works fine now. I deleted the chart and added a fresh chart and then the value appeared correctly. Thx for all your help.
I tried added that TMASlopeMTFpl.mq4 but I don't think I did it right, if its to the dashboard that I add it, all I got was a funny little green squiggly line, so I am guessing that is not the right place, so where do I put it? Thanks
No. All you have to do is to make sure the TMSSlopeMFTpl.mq4 indicator is in the indicator folder under the expert folder and you should be OK

For the flex version of the indi you must have TMASlopeMTFpl_ms.mq4 in your ...\expert\indicators\

Btw, here is a pic of the 1440, with the MA tweaked to match 4Hr. For the folks looking to do that. maxBars set to 100.

Tried it, but still doesn't display the correct RSI zero's for the 1440 time period (there are 'legal' zero's displayed too, of course, but for GBPUSD, for instance, it's still incorrect.

Really wondering what could be wrong, especially since it works for some and doesn't for others.
By the way, on the image there are 'zero's' for the EURUSD and EURJPY, but this is correct; for the GBPUSD there's also still a zero (RSI) and that's simply not what the 1440 chart shows...

Agreed. I like setups and trading here. I will only open a thread under no obligation to maintain and polish. My time is too scarce. These are tools created for personal use shared only with the intent that someone find them useful. Many seem to be finding them useful. The indi section is mostly dead.

Besides Alex, there are like 20 posts a day on this entire board. Very few of them spammy or retarded. ;)

(Mods feel free to move anything related to this, imho. Certainly all my posts.)

You guys are right, too many 'newbie questions' and indicator-related 'on and on and on ramblings', which are not useful for the general flow of this thread; I for one am heading to the '10.4 for Dummies thread' at this very moment - not kidding. Lets keep this wonderful thread clean, people!
