My pairs list is running off the screen. Is there a setting I'm missing?

That is because you are listing so many pairs. Pare down the number of pairs you trade. A lot of them I have never heard of before. You should stick with the 20-25 basic pairs of the top 7 currencies.

Gladly, it's just that I don't know how to pare down the pairs. The properties of the YAD104v1.07 EA don't show what pairs. I've turned the Allsymbols property to false but that doesn't help.

Right click on the ea, click MODIFY, then change the string index[] to

Thanks for this - I was having the same problem with the market watch window - you used to be able to delete symbols but with my new FXCM AT demos you cannot!

Not sure what the problem is at your end. The Dash should only show the pairs for the eight major currencies. Changing the string index worked for me.

I recently upgraded to the 10.4/5 May update and have been having problems since with charts not loading all data, being slow etc. I LOVE the functionality that lets us go from H4 down to H1 with all the right pivots etc - amazing stuff! However, I see you are now using different templates - Simple and YAD?

Question - how are you trading 10.4/5 now? Have people given up on the CSS due to CPU load? Is the awesome Indi redundant? Are you back to using CSS in China and only simple on laptop?

Also general question to anyone - can you load all your charts on one instance of Empty4? If I do this, some charts do not display the pivots, while others do. I have a fairly big computer (12GB RAM 6 core i7 Falcon Extreme) - so I am not sure that is the problems. Could be FXCM perhaps?

Thank you for all your questions. I also had trouble alll summer with the CSS on my laptop, I was traveling in the USA for 6 weeks and it couldnt handle the load. I have been playing with several things but have not come up with a definitive alternate yet. I know many are having trouble with the CSS so working on that. I quit trading during July because the market was so ugly. I tried a couple of days this week with not very good results. This is not the market for 4H trading but trading MA lines on the lower time frames is much better trading right now but I dont have time to sit in front of a computer and trade lower TF. The lower the TF the more babysitting you have to do with a trade. So I may sit and try again next week and see if some of these pairs will break into a prolonged trend. The USD has but I didnt really trade it so out of luck there for me.

An interesting thing is my single core computers at school handle the CSS well but the multi-cores seem tonot handle it. I trade on a dual core here at home but my 4 core laptop wouldnt handle the CSS at all and so does my new 4 core laptop I got for my birthday. It doesnt handle CSS very well either. So maybe some computer geek can tell us why?

YAD104_v1.07a read market watch window file. Close windows with EA, restart Empty4 and you can delete pair on market watch window.

Hello Bob, I am a noob so I hope you don't mind a quick noob type question...You just mentioned this market not being good for 4h trading and that it's better on lower time frames. On the 10.3 do you still check a trade about every 4 hours or more often? Thanks so much --mike

My script places Target & Stop of 50 pips and I then adjust these to the makeup of the Chart..Stop generaly below last swing & target to Pivots or Mid Pivots. I mainly only place 1 or 2 levels of trade.

Would mind posting your script here, please? I'd like try your adaptation of 10.4 system.
