Re: 10.4 A Complete System
I just havent been able to get some good multiple trades together. Mostly single trades for profit then some SL and then a handle of profitable trades and then some SL. My balance has been hanging around the same number all summer.art wrote:crap market indeed bob, been looking for trades using the dashboard, none that i can see, hoping audusd, will head south stuck in a short position on that pair, i'm trading off the 1 hour, if it breaks down under WP, will go in again, in the meantime enjoy the summer

Re: 10.4 A Complete System
Does anyone have a MA EA that actually still works. The part I need working is the SL,TP part. For example TP or SL at the 12MA line. The one I used to use doesnt work anymore. Sometimes I want a trade to enter and then let it run until it hits the MA line. It must be able to work on any TF. For example I can set it on a 15M TF from it will still work while I am looking at the 4H chart. In other words I need to be able to hard code it. Thanks.

Re: 10.4 A Complete System
A couple of questions if anyone is able to assist.
I'm having a bit of trouble conceptually visualising how to interpret what the info page means in relation to when I look at the charts. I think it's to do with the H4 and Daily often being opposite. Should I be honouring the Daily as the main trading direction (obviously taken 240ma in to account). So if USD daily is below 0, overall for the week I'm looking to match it with currencies above 0 on the daily?
So how do I fit the 4H in to that assessment? I know in Bob's trading plan he says he gets up at 6am and checks the info page for the setups for that day. And I've read all the manual on accelerating vs decelerating etc, sorry just the 4H css on info page is still throwing me out a bit. Should I be able to pick all my trades for the day at that point and then just a waiting game for each of the sessions to start. Again as per Bob's plan he says he sets up jpy trades before asia, setup euro before london, us before us etc. Sorry if this sounds dumb, but what exactly does that mean? At those times he specifies for each session, do I just check every chart for H4 pinned and CSS either correct or looking like it's on it's way to being correct?
If anyone could share a bit more on exactly how they are assessing the info page and using that information it would be really appreciated.
Also just wanted to confirm, if the H4 becomes "unpinned" before the H4 css turns green does that invalidate the pending orders? Or am I safe to keep them on if it looks like css is converging?
Many thanks in advance
Paul

Re: 10.4 A Complete System
nanningbob wrote:First good questions. I mainly rely on the daily CSS. I especially like pitting the top two or three against the bottom two or three. Even though there is a 4H CSS I seem to do better reading it on the single charts versus comparing all of them on the 4H info page. So I get my pairs most likely to move based bottom 2 and top 2. The other info I look for on the info page is are any on a steep angle heading back to zero or away from 0. These also can be a good trade. For example the Euro is making a steep climb up and the JPY is making a steep decline back to zero. They maybe worth lookkng at for a trade. So with that info I probably got 5-8 pairs to go look at for trades. Then I hit the 4H chart and look for a setup or place to enter the trade. My favorite trades are crossing the WP or DP back into the trend if I can get them. After that then I look at RSI 2 and each individual 4H CSS for a set up. Then when I am done with those I see if other pairs offer something interesting to trade.fridayStreet wrote:A couple of questions if anyone is able to assist.

I really dont do that, I set up my trades before each session not just jpy at jpy session euro at euro session etc. Before each session I see which ones are set up the best. There are some exceptions, like the usd/cad doesnt move much except during the USA session. That should be obvious because the banks arent open during jpy and euro sessions.

The RSI pinned is just a signal to look for a trade. Obviously as a trade develops it will unpin itself but that doesnt invalidate the signal. RSI pinned is just a signal to look for a trade. You then look for a good place to enter after that but the entrance has nothing to do with RSI. It is a filter to let you know price has retraced in a trend so look to get back into the trend. You can look for S/R/pivot crosses or a trendline break back into the trend. You also can wait for a CSS signal. For an experienced trader he can also use indies he is familiar with. For example you may have used MACD for years and have a good feel for it. Well with 10.4 signal and confirmation for MACD probably would give you a very successful trade. I have gone back to one of my favite indies, STO and use its signals to find entrances. Did very well yesterday doing that. But I have used STO for years and am familiar with some of its nuances.
I hope this helps some.

Re: 10.4 A Complete System
Awesome! Thanks Bob adding much clarity for me. Yeah I probably wasn't very clear on the setups question now reading your answer. I didn't mean just looking for jpy cross trades before jpy session etc. I just meant looking for trades to put on for that session, so all good there thanks for confirmation. I'm also on the +8 GMT TZ and really like the hours of your trading plan. I figured if it works for you and you are finding good trades at those times then why do anything different.
Look forward to getting to grips with the system a bit more.
Thanks again
Paul
