I've used SlopyBuffer but hadn't considered it for this. I'm manually testing M15 entries using CSS, in various configurations and getting some interesting results. I end up with so many trades I can quickly come unstuck! I thought BSS and CSS were quite different things, but after some reading and tinkering and I think this will do what I want.

Thank you very much Dragonian. I know being a battled hardened veteran I should have known this very basic stuff !
On another matter, I tried using the basket cash trailing function, start trail at startvaluecash=50, gapvaluecash=5, nothing seems to be happening when the basket cash exceeds 50. Have you used this function before ?

I have looked through the code. The basket trailing stop feature is only called if TreatAllPairsAsBasket is 'true'. Have you enabled yours?

Thanks Steve. I thought TreatAllPairsAsBasket only applies to BasketTargetPips and BasketTargetCash ! I only set UseBasketTrailingStopCash=true. :arrrg: :arrrg: :arrrg: Will try the function again next week.

P.S. Anyone planning to use the same function in SPB please take note.

I'm looking for a box indicator that i can use with TDesk. The ones that I've found so far do not show a buffer value so I'm a bit stuck. I am trying to get the high and low of a trading session (or part of a trading session). Any help is appreciated.

EDIT: I've been testing Peak HiLo (24 bars seems good on m15). This isn't exactly the way that I had been developing the trading strategy, but it may work out better!

Good Day to all. I want to again give many thanks to Steve, Thomas, and team for maintaining this site and allowing us to use these fantastic tools. I have been lurking here for a while trying to find my way and work through my own issues as Steve preaches however, I have come to a log in the road. I can't wrap my head around why an indicator is not populating in Tdesk according to my logic. I have been a member of this forum for over two years and understand the settings however, the last few days have baffled me.

As you can see in "Screenshot (22)", the current AUDJPY H1 candle is in the sell zone and has been in that zone for the last 6 previous candles. The indicator activates the Sell Zone Buffer to be either 1 if price is in the zone or EMPTY VALUE if price is not; and we can clearly the buffer is active and equals 1 in the data window. The "Code Photo" verifies that I am using the proper buffer in the USD settings (the Sell Zone Buffer is buffer = 5 which corresponds to the settings I have in the USD). With that logic I should see a sell arrow in Tdesk and I have been getting nothing but a flat signal. I have installed a fresh Empty4 and and erased everything except for this indicator and Tdesk requirements.

I'm assuming there is some user error somewhere on my part but I haven't found it in days. I have also tried multiple ways to accomplish the same goal such as using a "greater than 0", a "not equal empty value" and UBD versions of the same all to arrive at a flat signal. Is there a certain way indicators need to be coded in order to work with UBDs/USDs? :arrrg: :?: :uff: This is more frustrating than trading :lol: . The only caveat I can throw in this mix is that I ignore open candle to false. Don't know if that affects anythings. Anyways I appreciate the time anyone has taken to read this and the time and help anyone is willing to give to assist a fellow trader. Thanks and Stay green.
