Are there other trader fellows getting results similar to Phil ones ? Who may confirm the good results Phil is documenting for 100 days already - using the Empty4 (regardless of v0.35, v0.36 ... or whatever ...). Plz post your MFXB links.  Testings the MM bot takes not days or weeks, no: months are needed. So bevor starting a new test attempt its necassary to have a bugfree Empty4 code making th same trades like Phil is doing with his Windev version - otherwise its not worth to start testing. Just my 2 cents.  |

And to ask broker to have a non limited demo account ! Remember all...some trades are running 4 months ! and if you cut too early a trade, you will have more bad trade as Marilyn will take them during retracement instead of adding new good trades to the trend I'm waiting Jeremy for his new DEMO server to run a Marilyn v0.36 with my setting so I could compare with Windev/Empty4 system. edit : I look at CuzGeorge demo . MM took the same Sell trade on Gold : 11.04.2013 14:03 11.04.2013 14:03 XAUUSD Sell 0.10 0.02 - 1566.74000 1566.88000 -1.4 -1.47 43s 0.00% and close it 43 sec. after I run the same trade 4 days and win 462€ with only 0.04 lot ! So there is a bad parameter somewhere. Also, I need to say I'm using a live account with 1:200 leverage compare to Demo account you're testing with only 1:100. That's could do a big difference ! Everyone running such demo test, have to look at journal to know why these trades were closed, otherwise it's useless and I will only read here complaints, complaints and complaints....  report bad trade infos so we can debug or explain ! so all together please : "♫one good trend pays for them all!♫" Philippe |

I guess that one had to be the RSI filter bug that was corrected in 0.35. Need george to confirm he was using a pre-0.35 back to that time ! |

HI Niepce , all, yes , it is still on 0.35 and very steady growth. Will be updating as i re-set the demos with new autoupdate. It seems the demos are not updating as they are and i will need to re-do the setup on fxbook. This is one of the EA's i will definately be working on although i'd like to add various twists to the demos like i did to this demo with MPTM. Wasnt as successfull as Phillipe's, thats why i want to tinker with the settings you allowed. regards and thanks again for all the work you guys have put into this. cuz |

yes , it is still on 0.35 and very steady growth. and you're under trade as 0.10 lot FOR 50.000$ as I recommend 0.10 for 10.000$. So performance of your demo account with this MM should be +25% |

Hi all,  currently setting up Marylin 0.36 on one of the on 5k demos and going through the params. Thanks Niepce and Phill. I'm not going to use MPTM on this one and see if i can get to Phills results. Dudests version for MPTM is not how i use MPTM and will follow his results also to see if they are better than mine. My setup was using the jumping like in Trendy Gary at 35 and 10 for BE , Jumping at each 35. Did well in beginning but last 3 months i have a loss of $850 on 50k account using Niepces set files for 0.35 and my MPTM settings as described. I definatly got closed out too early and should have stuck to Phill's method rather than getting closed out, or opened up MPTM like Dudest by jumping at 150 instead of 25/35 pips. Marylin didnt always re-open those closed trades like i expected, and thats where i missed the boat. I played with MPTM depending on trends but never really had time to adjust much. MPTM was used for each pair, and no basket settings. I used much tighter settings than Dudest for the jumping or trailing and didnt use a global closure pattern. I think Marylin is very good for each pair and going to rather follow others experiences with MPTM, maybe trying another approach later. Setting up shortly and will start updating all demos again. WIll post a comparisson link when all done. in a day or two please.  regards, cuz |

Hi all I have anticipated my entry system with a good buy on Gold at 1190/1200. It was a try to take 'before early' an up trend. It pushed My WinDev/Empty4 system to +125% and I will back test this technique to see if this could help all pairs in catching trend. Philippe |
