If the questions are directed at me, the answer is no one knows what the correct settings for the CandlesLookBack are, but I have stuck with 5 for both after trying a few combinations.

As for the signals changing or not after the candle closes, you have to ask Bob or one of the coders of HGI. As I understand it, if you refresh the chart or change the time frames, the signal arrows may change if condition changes. If you leave the chart undisturbed, the signals stay the same.

P.S. I could envisage WaveCandlesLookBack as far back as 10 to be still influencing Trend trades downstream.

yes, if you use 15.06, the signal one time drawed, will not be changed, if the candle is closed, and you do not reinitialize the indicator.

Yes, keep it plain and simple as Bob preaches. Stick strictly to H4 time frames which is what HGI is designed for. There is no need to keep chopping and changing to a lower time frame for a better entry. There are plenty of pips to be had just taking the H4 signals. Just pick the best pairs to trade at the start of your trading day, sit back and let HGB do the hunting for you. Then two to three hours into each session, look to take profit before they disappear again when the retracement occurs. Be realistic. Look for single hits rather a home run every time. How many times have we heard this before from Master Bob ?

Be very disciplined. DO NOT TRADE BEFORE HIGH IMPACT NEWS, HOWEVER TEMPTING THE SIGNALS MAY BE. AN UNEXPECTED NEWS OUTCOME WILL KICK AN A1 SIGNAL TO KINGDOM COME. BELIEVE ME, IT HAS HAPPENED TO ME MANY TIMES BEFORE !

I'm already using pending on the RAD trades. I will try BE25+5 JS20 setting a try in my next round of testing. :D

I will not allow other indicators to become a part of HGB. They are unnecessary and I will not allow HGB to become indicated into oblivion.

I just realised I was being a tad hard on the, "Please can we have more indicators to filter out the bad trades?" brigade (nope, it is ok old stagers, I do not really think that. Dream on, the rest of you.)

Please read the Asking me to add more indicators to 'filter the trades better' section in post 1 to read how you can indeed persuade me to add more indicators to HGB.

So if I drag v15.08 on the charts and do a visual backtest (i.e scrolling back through 2014) I see what I would have got in real-time (after the close of the specific candle)? Or is it worthless to do such a visual backtest because there could have been many more arrows and waves in real-time which disappeared because the conditions changed?

Steve, I would highly appreciate your comment on the CandleLookBack settings.
I want HGB to trigger a trade after the current candle closed with a big arrow and and the latest wave was printed within the last 5 candles. Are these the correct settings?
