Hello Paul,

I would like to ask you a question about the CurrencySlopeStrenght v1.0.11.

I am using this fine Indicator now for a couple of days. But i see something I don't understand.

At the attachment you can see the CurrencySlopeStrenght of the GBPUSD M5 of March 3.
I draw two yellow lines and between these lines you can see that the GBP is increasing and the USD is decreasing. But the Currency pair GBPUSD is moving horizontally.

Can you please tell me how I should interpret this? Or is this normal?
Because I was thinking that when the currencyslope of GBP is rising and the USD is falling that the Currency Pair GBPUSD should be RISING!

Thanks already for your answer!

When a currency is < 0, it is weakening. < 0 but the angle is rising, it is still weakening but the rate at which it is growing weaker is declining.

You need lines angling away from each other to provide trading confirmations. This you would have known had you done the reading I recommended in my Welcome message to you when you first joined. I suggest you do said reading before asking daft questions here.

Something else you would know had you spent some serious reading time here is not to take any notice of the M5 chart.

Up to you whether you accept the massive amount of seriously good advice on offer for free in this forum, but don't blame the rest of us if you do not do so and then fail as a trader.

Good luck.

Paul,

CSS is based on the moving averages of all symbols. The close price of the last 20 candles of all symbols is used to calculate a CSS value for all currencies.

This means that if price does not change, CSS will converge to 0. Which is why we are looking for diverging CSS (or even a non-zero horizontal CSS). A falling positive CSS or a rising negative CSS means a price movement is stalling.

Look for diverging/widening CSS lines!

Thankyou!

Both Baluda and Steve, for answering my question about the CSS.
I admit I should read the 66 pages first before asking a question about this Fine indicator.
Now i understand how to use CSS.

First i thought that CSS was the same as other Currency Strenght indicators. That's why I didn't understand the outcome of the indicator. But now I realised that CSS worked differently.

Sorry for my English.

Thanks guys!

Paul

May I ask, if the CurrencySlopeStrenght v1.0.11 (CSS) is identically with the latest one used
in NB´s 10.6 Edsel thread?
Sorry, because it makes me a little bit confused by name and version, which one is used at the latest version.

Thanks in advance

First, thank you so much for your great work. The indicators are really useful.
I'm not a coder so, please consider the possibility to add the next option to MPBM: when the basket is closed by MPBM, the pending orders with the same magic number are closed too. The option is present in MPTM, but it can be used in conjunction only with some options of TP. I think it can be useful for many users of MPBM.

All the best!

Hi Paul,

Please consider adding the feature requested above when you have the time: an option to close all open orders along with the open trades in MPBM.
Thanks.
