Here is the chf/jpy on the daily with support and resistance lines on the daily. Will JPY weakness finally break those highs this fall, maybe this month??

gbp/jpy daily ready to break back up again? Right now it has broken previous summer high, then its spring run summer high is in sight. Possible break up from there. GBP news is Prince C (Carney) is going to let the GBP strengthen. Emperor K wants to weaken JPY. Match made in heaven for traders.

Hi Bob, I've noticed the STO used in the 10.6 template appears to be a little different compared to standard STO's found in most charting packages. You one seems to "bottom out" and "top out". What are the differences with your STO compared to the others? Why does it top out/bottom out?
Thanks again for your great work!

Then June July August came around and it has been up and down. The key though is during these rough trading times is you dont lose your shirt and you keep your account intact. Hopefully this fall things will pick up and I can continue to increase my account and have a real solid year. That is what trading is really like. I am happy that for 2 weeks I was increasing my account over 1% a day but not this week. Really cool, it goes like this. HEY GUYS I am really doing great with this. So I post and crappola. Well not totally I am up 3% for the week and have almost 1/2% up now which I will close soon. So that is trading in reality.art wrote:Glad it's not just me that's had a crappy week, typical august
I hate the guys who run threads and wont reveal their losses, bad days, bad weeks, bad months. To think you can go through a trading cycle and not have losses is absurd. Yet some of these guys make you believe that is the way they always trade.
I just want to know if anyone has been able to make a living out of this system. (or any system)
It has changed soo many times.

What I meant is the Indicators have changed so very much.
I saw the reply that you gave me and you were right,
on you your reply to me.
But my main question was not answered.
I just want to know if anyone has been able to make a living out of this system. (or any system)
I am sorry that I made you unhappy with my post.
I think you are one of the best out there in FX land but.
Can you make a living using this?
That is Good and it is Bad.
Just like forex.
I think I am giving up after many many years.
I hope you Guys make it!

It is using close/close and lwma instead of high/low and simple. Makes the indie more sensitive to moves and you get your read faster.pg2205 wrote:Hi Bob, I've noticed the STO used in the 10.6 template appears to be a little different compared to standard STO's found in most charting packages. I hate to pick on you but obviously you do not under stand the basics of the system. buy above/ below 240 line?? NO
Enter crossing DP or WP lines back into the trend?? NO
RSI pinned/STO 5 pinned with CSS reads versus STO 7 crossing back into the trend?? A better change and a much quicker less interpretive read. The difference is the STO 7 gives a warning when it unpins giving you a very specific point to enter or look for a trade. That is an improvement. You are no longer dependent on CSS reads, with RSI2 reads and then trying to find the best entrance. It tells you this is a good place to set your pending trades. You have a very good chance of success.
The CSS info page?? HAS that changed? NO it is still the same page.
When to take profit?? You can take profit as WS1 or WR1 or you can use xxx.00 lines. Now which make reading the charts universal to all users? Those blue xxx.00 lines. WS1 and WS2 are no longer broker dependent on the math based on GMT 0 +1 +2 or +3. You can now set your TP SL and entrances to the blue lines and everyone can use those same lines and they are the same on all brokers. That is an improvement.
SO what has changed ???? Explain that to me please. The basics of the system remain the same throughout. Buy above 240, sell below. Buy the dips in the UT, sell the rallies in the DT. It is what every trader tries to do and be a success at.

Re: 10.4 A Complete System
INTERESTING CSS READS TODAY Everything seems to have paired up which I dont think I have seen before. Knowing some tendencies and fundamentals I will try to make sense of this. NZD/CAD on the bottom. NZD follows AUD so watch the AUD. Since I know that the JPY is still doing its bond buying program at the beginning of every month and the JPY has stayed even or strong throughout the summer (due mostly to the weakening of the Chinese economy) I expect JPY weakness to carry itself back up to the summer lows and possibly beyond this month and this fall. I realize now that in ASIA the JPY is the currency of choice for safety if things go bad so getting used to that concept. Any way from the earlier CSS studies AUD and JPY go in opposite directions most of the time. So if JPY weakness kicks back in you will see the AUD and then the NZD strengthen. However, until then I am still looking at nzd.xxx sells because it is the weakest and wont go up until the AUD goes up. It just had a rally so looking for my best entrance back into the NZD DT. Not sure what to do with CAD. I dont trade their crosses very much because the CAD generally will only move good during the USA session but continued weakness can be looked at.
AUD and JPY are paired. With AUD having been DT since April I wouldnt be surprised if it has finally bottomed and will move up to find its new top. This would work with the JPY bond sales.
USD GBP on top. USA economy improving and USA thinking about ending QE3 and GBP saying it is not going to do QE should translate into both staying on the strong side. That leaves eur and chf. Chf is pegged to the euro so follow it. It probably would be the one to stay in the middle of the pack for now. The key to the euro doing anything is news of debt refinance or improvement in the economy. Neither one is making big news at the moment so I expect those two to stay in the area they are in. Middle of the pac, Anyway usd gbp buys jpy nzd sells is where I will be trading this week.
Waiting to see how this Syria thing will play out which can turn any analysis into a pile of crap at any moment.

Re. these EAs to close the 10.6 trades, I think you also need to change the OrderSelect(0, SELECT_BY_POS) to OrderSelect(pos, SELECT_BY_POS) to make them work properly.

AUD/USD signal. Break 80 and 60 on STO 7, Below 240, bounced off of 60MA play crossing the WP to the next line. 2nd trade below the next blue line. 50+ 1st play 2nd play +90. USD strong on CSS AUD weak.
Similar trade also on nzd/usd but not as strong of a signal yet.

Re: 10.4 A Complete System
gbp/nzd CSS read GBP strong/NZD weak. Price has retreated below both WP and DP. Price temporarily broke STO 7 20 going up. Set my entrance above the WP and playing for 150+ pip move. If price moves up will get signal again and break back up into the trend.
