Edit aud/usd trade. It moved up to 60 line so I moved my entrance to the last xxx.00 blue line.

NZD/CAD on the bottom. NZD follows AUD so watch the AUD. Since I know that the JPY is still doing its bond buying program at the beginning of every month and the JPY has stayed even or strong throughout the summer (due mostly to the weakening of the Chinese economy) I expect JPY weakness to carry itself back up to the summer lows and possibly beyond this month and this fall. I realize now that in ASIA the JPY is the currency of choice for safety if things go bad so getting used to that concept. Any way from the earlier CSS studies AUD and JPY go in opposite directions most of the time. So if JPY weakness kicks back in you will see the AUD and then the NZD strengthen. However, until then I am still looking at nzd.xxx sells because it is the weakest and wont go up until the AUD goes up. It just had a rally so looking for my best entrance back into the NZD DT. Not sure what to do with CAD. I dont trade their crosses very much because the CAD generally will only move good during the USA session but continued weakness can be looked at.

AUD and JPY are paired. With AUD having been DT since April I wouldnt be surprised if it has finally bottomed and will move up to find its new top. This would work with the JPY bond sales.

USD GBP on top. USA economy improving and USA thinking about ending QE3 and GBP saying it is not going to do QE should translate into both staying on the strong side. That leaves eur and chf. Chf is pegged to the euro so follow it. It probably would be the one to stay in the middle of the pack for now. The key to the euro doing anything is news of debt refinance or improvement in the economy. Neither one is making big news at the moment so I expect those two to stay in the area they are in. Middle of the pac, Anyway usd gbp buys jpy nzd sells is where I will be trading this week.

Waiting to see how this Syria thing will play out which can turn any analysis into a pile of crap at any moment.
Interesting. On technicals AUD looks like a bottom, but Stephens has a habit of giving statements that he wants AUD to go lower and blah, blah, then the shit happens.

Edit: GbpAud trade. Still a bit early to buy, but I am looking to enter on a rebound.

Well the USD/CHF just blew through the 240 line. I think it will be sustain so next blue line I am in.

gbp/aud maybe a good play bouncing of off the 60 MA. We will see.

I am increasing my lot size just a bit to five cents per thousand. I still have not had a losing day with 10.6 but always seem to have a losing day or week every time I increase my lot sizes. LOL Still leery of the Syria thing but I think that is several days or even a week away now.

A trade I am NOT taking. GBP is higher on the 10.4 CSS info trade but the USD has been rising faster to meet it. So gbp/usd is ranging. The Sto 7 gave a buy signal, it is crossing the DP, price is above the 240 but I dont see the potential strength needed to carry the trade. So I didnt take this one.

SH,

Re. these EAs to close the 10.6 trades, I think you also need to change the OrderSelect(0, SELECT_BY_POS) to OrderSelect(pos, SELECT_BY_POS) to make them work properly.
Great spot clovelly. Thanks.

Line 66 in Scite is:
if(OrderSelect(0,SELECT_BY_POS)==false) continue;

Change this to:
if(OrderSelect(pos,SELECT_BY_POS)==false) continue;

and recompile. Remember to do this for all three EA's. I attach the fixes for the code phobics.

The original ea's would only: 1) close the trade opened furthest back in time; 2) and then only if the market has crossed the relevant moving average as it was at the close of the previous candle.

My fix fixed part 2. I had not noticed that the ea would only examine the earliest trade opened. Mind, if you had 8 open trades, it would examine trade 1 8 times, so it was being thorough. :lol: clovelly's spot fixes this, so the blasted things should work properly now.

It never occurred to me to look at the loop code - I just assumed it would be correct. Last time I take anything for granted. I know my code is a looooonnnnnngggggg way from being perfect, but it does have the benefit of all the input from the fantastic coders here. The moral of the story is: if the software was not written by one of the genius's here, then assume it will not work.

Bob, the originals are as much use as a chocolate fire guard, so you need either to replace them in your zip file, or post a link to here.

Nope that 58pips is already in the bank. Talking about usd/chf. More likely the USD keep going up than the AUD.

It was quiet so I took a look at my trades last week. It was a slow week but still came out on top. Just to show you how I trade some I was 56-24 but the interesting part was I had 61 canceled pending trades. Because price did not move that much I would clean out and reset my trades trying to find places to enter. That means 43 % never took. To me that is strange but good news. It means if price action didnt go in my favor the trades were not entering. If I add my losers and no trades that totals 85 trades or 60% that were no good and only 56 that ended up good. I will have to digest that info and take it to mean good for now. 10.6 and pending at the DP or blue lines seems to prevent a lot of bad trades from happening. We will have to see how this plays out this week.

One of the reasons for the large pending trades was if price didnt enter and it continue to move the wrong way I would look for another entrance point by changing the DP or WP to a blue line trade or visa versa. This seems to be something that could happen with this system set up this way. We will see.
