Hi Bob, I must have something wrong on my setups, all my 240MA are totally different from yours, checked the settings and they are Linear Weighted 240 period by the OPEN, seems to be correct.
Attached the AUDJPY example, what could it be?

Re: 10.4 A Complete System
Trying to get my head around this new system.
May I please ask and please be gentle with me if it is printed before. I apologise but find it difficult trolling through all the posts trying to find the answers.
1) What does the 60MA represent in relation to the opening or closing of the trades
2) Do we still enter long above the 240MA and short below ?
3) Does the Stoch have to be high to consider short entry and low for long?
The rules for entry appear simple to enter on the cross of WP or DP or the blue line. Is that all?

Dang my 240 is set to smooth on this test version. The original should be LWMA. Now you went and messed up all my analysis. Will go through and correct my screens. THanks.ocelot911 wrote:same thing as you nidolap

Excellent question!! 60 MA is the 2MA on the weekly. 2x5days = 10 x 6 bars or 6 4hour periods in a day=60 It approximates the weekly trend. 240 monthly trend. If price goes outside both the 60 and 240 it is a strong trend. When it comes back inside that run is over. Price will then Range, reverse or go back into the trend. Here is a pic of 14 weeks of eur/aud. Notice how price came back inside the 60 and broke back up back into the trend 6 times very strongly. This coincided with the STO 7 signal. So if price is between the 60 and 240 and STO gives a signal. You have a chance of getting a strong move back into the trend. See pic below.

Re: 10.4 A Complete System
Add DP and WP for entrance spots and you have a dynamic trading system that wins a heck a lot more than it loses. A patient trader can enter and follow the trade for days or weeks. An impatient trader, like me, can reenter almost every day back into the trend using DP lines. So the best for both kinds of traders.

Re: 10.4 A Complete System
For some reason Bob, your 240 the 240 line on your charts is not in the same place as mine. i'm running 10.6 on 1 live broker and on a demo Cowboy IBFX account and they are the same on both of mine but quite a bit different than yours. any idea why that might be?nanningbob wrote:aud/xxx did not make the 240 line. nzd/xxx did not make the 240 line. They look like beautiful SELL setups for 10.6 trades.
usd/xxx did not make the 240 line. They look like beautiful BUY setups for 10.6 trades.
Look for other cross pair setups also.

Thanks for the wonderful response Bob. Your teaching skills are exemplary.nanningbob wrote:Add DP and WP for entrance spots and you have a dynamic trading system that wins a heck a lot more than it loses. It would appear one could as you say, follow the trend for days and possibly exit on the cross of the DP
