My attempt of analysis for next week:

After 3 pushes up pair reached very strong level 99.00 and stopped. Some sort of trapping volume aka TV formed. So now 2 way scenario to monitor: a break and continuation of uptrend or any reverse pattern and drop down to test 96.5 again. That little pin on top drags me towards second scenario, but I'd like to see more clues for confidence.

Any thoughts guys? BTW have a good day off everyone :party:

It's ok, even as a doji.
We are taught traditionally that doji = indecision. IMHO, there's no such thing for the price movers. That is how they clear the positions in their book. Look at the candle formed during a news event ( H1, H4 ). Many times, it will be a pinned bar or a doji --> Fox has regularized his books. Then he can move on to next phase

How that doji was formed and where said "short" ==> on a lower TF, it formed the "a" and "b" of a stop hunt [ which is all a pin is, a stop hunt ]

News events and the resulting PA are not random events. They are well known to the Fox, ahead of time. They know where the range traders as well as others have placed thier buy and sell stops and they will clear those stops, each way, before taking price back to the same level, continuing the trend or the other way on a reversal.

This is when they balance the books and take their profits and they don't like company when they do it.

The only "random" events that I know of are the ones similar to when a large trader wishes to place a trade for, lets say a 1000 shares of stock, but keys it in as a million shares.... as has happened in the past, causing ripples across markets. And then the FOX goes "WTF!!"

Be prepared when looking at the setups, and check to see if there is a news event that will tie into the completion of the patterns.

Sometimes I loose patience=big DD or lost $.
Patience and MM it's most important thing.
In this week I lost big amount of $ on eurjpy shorts,couse I lost my patience.
pattern before stack,never stack before pattern.

Bummer for losses buddy.

I do that also, get reckless at times (some times more than I like). Doing my best to curb it, and practice PATIENCE as CJ preached

@EURJPY: if price retraces to the areas around 130.00, I'll be so over it!
