BTW, may I ask, if we are trading "traditional" 10.4, is it "okay" to drop to the 1HR time frame to get earlier entrances as a result of the STO7? I am under the impression that this is do-able without violating the rules, but I cannot remember where I read it....  Any opinions? Thanks H PS, but thinking about it, that would come down to forcing the trade, exactly what 10.4 seeks to avoid, wouldn't it? Eish, I'm confusing myself. |

Counter trend trades in GBPUSD, GBPJPY, EURUSD and EURJPY today. GBP and EURO angling down, and USD and JPY angling up. Shorts GBPUSD, GBPJPY, EURUSD and EURJPY. Sell below DP. Hope some of you caught the moves. If not, do not despair. Wait for retracement and then rejoin the down trend for the Euro. Great start to 2014 ! |

The euro sell off was coming and could be seen. Those big pin bars and double and triple tops were telling a story along with the news. The JPY will recover with bond buying starting up again next week. |

Thanks Bob, sorry, but I just don't get that much information from the charts, as I said, a bit confused. BUT. the EUR sell off has changed the trend of EURUSD for example, so, now I wait for the STO7 to give me a signal to enter (either 1 or 4HR time frame) short on the pair. Do I have that correct? H PS The CSS info page, I have been looking at that on the D1 time frame, looking at other postings, that seems to be incorrect and it should be looked at in the 4HR time frame? |

Using D1 TF is correct as per Bob's trading manual. You can see that GBP and EURO are angling down, and JPY and USD are angling up. I trade H4 TF only and has found H4 CSS equally useful but is more prone to market noise. You can see AUD also angling up. I did not trade GBPAUD and EURAUD, but you can see both had massive falls today. Well done to those who caught the moves. Both are counter trend trades, so a bit more risky to take. |

Thanks for the feedback fx8000. See, my CSS looks different to yours, even though they are the same version. therefore I can only assume that the pairs that are in use for the CSS are different, I have not changed mine, have you changed yours? eg. your USD sits at .20, mine has been at .12 all day. Your GBP sits at .52 and mine at .41 Your EUR sits at .18, mine sits at .38 Okay, they are all above the 0, which means the general direction is the same, but the strength of the move differs, and that lets me wonder about the angle of the CSS lines as well... EG. your CHF and NZD are about to cross, and mine are on different sides of the 0 line... So, does it have to do with the number of bars in the history? Again, I have not changed any of the settings as I do not remember any instructions to do so... Is everyone elses info page the same as fx8000's? Any help is appreciated, thanks H |

I'd like to show everyone what my CSS looks like, may I ask that someone school me on how to paste an image in a post? I have tried print screen & ctrl+V but that does not want to work. Apologies for being high maintenance. H |

How to add your image to your post: Images may be attached to forum posts by using the "Upload attachment" feature. - Look below the message composing box and click on the "Upload attachment" tab. - Click on the "Browse" button, locate and select the file that you wish to upload. - Click on the "Open" button. - Click on the "Add the File" button. - (optional) add a file comment in the box provided. as soon as I close the EUR USD short at BE, the dang thing drops like a rock, and as soon as I add to positions on my JPY pairs, the JPY gets a shot of 'roids and heads for the stars...
