I understand your point of view, but for a variety of reasons, I really love the H4 right now.

As a slightly related point, I am posting the D1 for the CSS 1.07. This is the version that was embedded in the original 10.4. It is totally different from your version. The Aud is screaming down.

In my view, this is the best version because it seems to anticipate changes very well. The CSS 1.08 which is in 10.6 is very similar to to CSS 1.06. It would be great if Paul could weigh in the differences here. My guess is that they have to do with time scales.

At this stage, using this breakthrough 10.6 system, would you recommend to trend trading only?

Many thanks
Yeah, stick with the basics until you got it. Not much CT trading from me but I still will do it. Almost all my pips came from the JPY session yesterday. Euro and USA sessions were kind of dead. I really hope the market picks up again. Much easier to trend trade than choppy markets.

OK CSS today shows AUD and NZD strength with EURO, CHF, and JPY weakness. USD and CAD going opposite directions so that is where to go look. Looks like some pairs are setting up some 10.6 trades.
I quit looking at them. You noticed I took the 4H out for 10.6. I am only interested in long term what a currency is doing. Gives me more good trades than bad. Remember the lower the TF the more you get involved in whip lash and CT moves. The AUD and NZD are up because of recent good economic news but the basic fundamentals are still in play. China economy is going to grow at a slower pace. That is not bad news it is just a reality of economic growth. I think the AUD and NZD have hit their new highs or are near their new highs but there is a chance they could go a bit higher yet. I notice many commentators are big on AUD and NZD going up up and away but I dont see it. I see a new range. But then again I have been wrong before.

Anyway hopefully this Syrian thing will mostly resolve itself with the USA this week and things will open up a bit.

Sorry, Forgot to post a screenshot. Does anyone else have this variation?
This doesnt seem to be significantly different than mine.

Remember for 10.6 I posted mine as containing only the 24 pairs I trade. So if yours is set to contain the info from other pairs it would be different.

I understand why you use it, it is helpful, I just found it a redundant use of the 4H chart on each pair. I thing that is most useful is when they cross on the 4H CSS. Maybe if there was a signal and screen popup that would be helpful or better yet one that would say two pairs are angling away from each other. That would be valuable with knowing the lines had crossed.

NZD surprisingly leading the way down for today's session as GBPNZD has found a base and is counter trending.
Oceanic pairs losing strength for today against the european EUR and GBP pairs.

Yen getting retraced too.

further addon: just looking at price and the dollar index. something is up there. sure i know you guys love to analyse the news and etc but its just a smokescreen(has always been).
given that something seems to be up on the dollar index on the last day of this week AND fed taper plus quadruple witching occurs all next week, we're not living in a ceteus parabus vacuum in terms of what can hit the market.

If you look at the daily charts or weekly charts you will see they have stalled at a major R area. Some commentators are saying buy but I am thinking range. NZD head banker doesnt want it to rise sooooooooooooo .......... I am CT trading it but with a short SL if it breaks through.

i don't trade NZDCHF but it is a legit resistence area. :)
even the daily which has a 120 period BB has a downslope thats fresh and untouched before. should be worth something.
i think they've started it already someone took it down early in japan session.

JPY bond buying usually ends about this part of the month so JPY strengthening should not be a surprise. There still could be some push up but I dont expect it at all to break any new highs.

March April and May I had a field day and it has been grind out the pips since. This is the part of trading newbies have to just understand. There are times you have to just take your time and grind out the small gainers until the big ones come again. We have had some gbp, aud, and nzd moves the last month. We will see what happens next.
All times are UTC Page 673 of 745
