I have been examining the GBPNZD trade that executed mid-candle yesterday. It appears to me that the 12 and 55 MAs were not stacking up until mid candle. Perhaps this is one of the contributing reasons for the trade happening mid-candle. I imagine that the "EveryTickMode" fix implemented yesterday will address this in the future.

That is exactly how the trade triggered. Andy's filter kept us out until the market moved sufficiently for the ma's to stack up, so BASA leaped into life.

the week was going ok with BASA until I woke up this morning hehe. BASA egged my house for halloween!!
I might restart now that I've changed the everytick issue for next week, will blame it on that :)

Yeah, BASA stepped in Poo on me also last night but good thing it's only in Demo.

I think by Jan 1st I'll be putting this baby on real money to test :)

Yes, that was the conclusion I came to after further analysis as well

Yep. Not pretty but still ok.
Not the best, but even though my live account is down 1.5% so far this week (2 full SL, including the GBPNZD trade taken incorrectly & a couple of small gains), October still finished up 2.3% for me...so a little down on my 5% target but still a profit.

I've checked back over all trades taken and there were actually 3 other trades taken well after the open of the candle...probably didn't notice at the time as they were all closed in profit. ;)

It could be that EveryTickMode always was wrong and we just never noticed.

Under different circumstances, getting in as soon as the stack ma's stack might be a good thing. Something to think about.
