HGB settings are for Steve latest, 2e, attached in post 1 at the moment.

These settings are just something I pulled out of my a.. while watching charts and suchs ( I don't own a bathtub) so don't be disappointed if it turns out to be a loosing strategy.

(already checked Bob's latest? 16.00 for the H1? Makes me wanna fire up yet another demo... :clap: )

It happens. As you will have seen in my latest post in HGI, the gap worked wonders for me tonight. Another week.............................

A serious thought for you all though guys. Bob has given a few seconds thought to all this stuff.

In case of doubt, " Bob has given a few seconds thought to all this stuff" is an example of masterly British understatement.

You know what? Instead of trying to 'tweak' his trading system (manually and as well as represented by HGB) you might care to try actually trading as he found worked after he gave it a few seconds thought. 'Tit working for those of us actually trying it.

Just an idea to toss around, guys.

There may be nothing wrong with your setup. You were caught out by the gaps at market open on sunday night.

I set my ea to start trading at 23.00 or 24.00 GMT to avoid the gaps.

My v2f demo shows rapid opening and closing.

So gone back to v2e. ON H4 CHARTS. v2e is stable, I used it last week.

So far two entries

To give a sumary what changed in version 2f & g.
Most of this resulted from my analyzing of the available Demo accounts. And analyzing of source code.
(Due to many changes, I dunno if this list still is accurate and complete)
• Fixed Trendrisk percent (previously mentioned by me, but not fully integrated in version 2e)
• TrendWaveTrades can now be opened even when you disable Wave trades.
• TrendWave trades are counted separately from the number of Wavetrades
• Fixed some Comments
• TrendWave Sell trades weren’t closed on an opposite signal.
• 1st Rad pending sell trade didn’t have a Stop loss
• 1 Trend pending sell trade didn’t have a Stop loss
• Sent the stoploss with a multi wave trade & multi trend wave trade
• Reintroduced the WaveTakeProfit and WaveStoploss (lost since version 1t)
• Introduced the TrendWaveTakeProfit and TrendWaveStoploss
• Wave trend trading now checks what kind of wavy he looksback from a trend arrow. Example, if a big trend up arrow and a wavy sell is drawn, HGB will now not take the trade. (Going trough a couple of my charts this situation occur a couple of times. This is clearly a trade you don’t want to take.) This code was already in there for the arrow lookback, but not for the wave lookback.
• Added TrendMultiStoploss & RadMultiStoploss
• Introduced Trendwavelot, as you want to make sure you can load up brinks truck. 
• Added WaveMaxTrades, to prevent this EA spinning out of control when there ar multiple wavys following up on each other very closely
• For consistency added TrendWaveMaxTrades.
• Fixed the looking for trendwavetrades to look at tradingtimeframe.
• Added a function to determine the TMA status on initialization. To prevent opening of bad trades and speed up the process of looking for trade opportunitys.
• Fixed the digits error in flooredprice int.

I still want to look into some things like the trade opening, TF filters.
Known Issues:
• Function CheckTPSL needs adjustment to work with all types of trades. (will do this later on)
• Please confirm: If Trend type type is set to instant, then Multiple Trend trades are not being sent.
• Screenshots not always taken (If TP or SL is hit????)
• Not all variables shown on display
• WavyTrend trading only looks to blue wavy buffer 7. Is this by design?
• Does the highest timeframe filter work?? I did’nt check but see an inconsistency in the code.
• Only one Wavetrade can be opened at a time, due to wavesellstopopen

Future:
• Simplify code
• Trademanagement per type of trade (I’ll give more detailed explanation later)

I could fill another post (or even pages) with all the Ideas for future development into this bot..
Well decided not to post my list :twisted:

Because incorporation in the current bot, would be difficult task in such a big program as this EA has become.
I've spent the last couple of days trying to create a new Shell for this HGB thingy. :geek:
Its still far from complete or first beta.
Don't even know if it will ever get into complete realization.. :o
But the goal is to simplify the code, and bring greater flexibility.
And on my wishlist are; better user feedback, on trade open & close.



My view on this HGB thingy is that it is many different trading styles stashed in one expert:
• Trend Trade
• Trend Multi Trade
• Range Trade
• Range Multi Trade
• Rad Trade
• Rad Multi Trade
• Wave Trade
• Wave Multi Trade
• TrendWave Trade
• TrendWaveMultitrade
What is different with this?? As you can see I make a distinction between single and multi entrys.I want to include separate trade management for each type of trades. Why don’t I use MPTM for this??
Before version 2f this was impossible.
Right now, I am lazy don't want to open an additional MPTM chart for every HGB chart on all of my demo accounts..
Can this be done differently?
Well great thing is that much of the trade management code is already present in HGB, we only need to use it differently. Plus we have the advantage that the trademanagement could act on HGB signals.
So, for example when a opposite Wavy line appears on a trend signal, Don't directly exit the trade, but start a tight trailling stop loss.

Well, adding all those features makes this bot the Ultimate Holy Grail.
But also very hard for Noobs to manage… The ambition of the new shell is to make it suitable for newbys, advanced users, and the ... "Please add this filter" guys. :uff:
