My post is about this bit of SS's post:
After loading up v8.12 however, I noticed another issue. When you click a "Details" link on the bottom row of any Trades (Pending/Open/Sum closed) columns when there are no actual trades showing in that column, I get this error in the Experts log:
TDesk XAUUSD,H1: zero divide in 'TDesk-Windows.mqh' (1278,44)

Subsequently, all clicks on any links seem broken and it takes a reload of the TDesk EA to get it to work again.
As a general point of information folks, a zero divide error stops an EA in its tracks but Empty4 does not notify the user about this.

Worse still, it leaves the EA smiley face in the top corner of the chart so it looks as though it is still working. Empty4 being helpful as usual. :arrrg: :arrrg: :arrrg:

Thomas' TDesk has a flashing message showing it is working. It has stopped working if the message stops flashing.

Hi to all,
Desky closes trades without reaching TP or SL or basket TP.
I think the problem could be that Desky shows: AL pair basket cash take profit = EUR 1.00".
But I don't have set up BasketTargetCash.
Can anymody help me please and tell what I'm doing wrong?

Strange one this. I have looked through the code in case there is a snippet that changes BasketTargetCash to 1 if it is set to zero in the inputs; I cannot find one.

Years ago we were told that changing inputs via F7 is not always reliable so try this:
  • Save your inputs as a setfile.
  • Remove Desky from the chart.
  • Add him back and load your setfile.
See if the rogue display of BasketTargetCash has disappeared.

If not, then the only solution I can see is to set BasketTargetCash to a value it can never reach - 10000000 perhaps?

Yes, it's strange. First I tried setting BasketCash to a higher value than what BasketPips would achieve and it does what I need.
After reading your post I changed the value back to 0.00 and saved the stetfile. And suddenly the "problem" is gone and the BasketCash display disappears.

Hello,
my problem with TDesk keeps coming back again and again.
I never set BasketTargetPips. But still, BaskteTargetPips is setting itself. It has been running for a few days and suddenly BsketTargetPIps: EUR 1.00 appears on the display. Today I have hot news, suddenly the setting is EUR 20.00. Without any intervention from me. It is definitely some bad setting on my part, but I have no idea what could have affected it.
Does anyone have an idea please?

Hi everyone.
Does anyone use in Desky the "All trades belong to a single basket" function?
If so, could you please share the set file?

I'm still struggling with this function. I want to use only BasketTergetPips, but if I leave the BasketTargetCash option empty, or enter any value there, after initializing the Desky, EUR 20.00 or EUR 30.00 appears on the display, completely randomly. It's as if the function has taken on a life of its own. I don't understand it at all, before, at least the entered value appeared on the display and stayed there for a while, a day or two, or something like that. Then it changed itself, for example, to EUR 1.00, EUR 20.00, etc.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.
