Dudest Warning regarding max trades.

MPTM is setting a trailing stop of 250 pips on all trades by default.

Marilyn has a number of trades max set as : 2 trades max. However, this setting acts on unprotected trades (no SL) trades. Since MPTM is assigning a hard stoploss on all trades, the number of unprotected trades is always 0.
That's why I had a 3rd CHFJPY buy today. And maybe a 4th tomorrow.

Stealth trailing with MPTM could be an option, however, I have had mixed results (sometimes MPTM closes all trades immediately). Another option is to add a quick hack in the code to check the max number of buy/sells regardless of their SL...

you can use whatever you want, if you prove it's good for final result

For Daily version, with Forextester, I tried ATR for SL. In fact, I have test so much, including speed of wind and the winner is Fixed SL !

Ahh, but did you test barometric pressure + average temperature, + test for updraft/downdraft?

Bummer, though I thought an exponential atr would've been responsive enough to allow us to play in ranging markets, as it's a double ema of true range.

Will keep thinking until I get a headache...

Also considered having a hidden/virtual SL (using MPTM), but have never trusted that part of the functionality :/

I think a hack to check the max no. of trades running regardless of SL would be a better (more universal) solution
