I adapted BASA to facilitate trading, so there is much that is common to both EA's.

Re True BASA, let's hope this week is better than last.

GBPJPY +30 (BE+2)
GPBAUD hit SL (-100pips)

I am getting some on the H1. Nothing on H4.

Nothing for me on either of my live accounts..a couple of trades on demo.

On almost all pairs the 60LWMA has crossed or is closing in on the 240LWMA indicating either a potential change in trend or at the very least some consolidation.

If you have MA stack turned on, this should prevent BASA trading until there is a clear direction, if MA stack is turned off, then you will probably get a few trades which may or may not work out...

For me, I have MA stack turned on for both of my live accounts, so I'm not expecting too many trades this week...IMO it is a week to be patient. Personally I am learning that it's better to stay out of these potentially whiplashy markets and wait for BASA to trade when a trend is more clearly determined.

I am getting to like this EA a lot, as it teaches me how to trade...by that, I mean when not to trade as well!

If I didn't have this EA and had to trade this system manually, I am sure my mind will try to play a dirty trick on me, and force me, come on, its getting boring, no trades so far, this one pair almost looks good, go ahead, press that F9 to put a trade!!!

So far no trades have been initiated. Let the EA do its job!

Leave it to the cowboys like me to bugger things up by trading lower time frames etc. Sensible people stick to what Shelley is telling them here.

Well said guys...this week really is a week for patience and it is time's like this that we tend to read a bit more into the signals being offered and the price action and more often than not we take a trade for no other reason than we WANT to or feel we HAVE to be in the market.

I have learn't the hard way by losing a lot of very, very REAL money previously and only now with the help of BASA am I realising that I don't need to be in the market ALL THE TIME and in fact there are times when it is better not to be!

BASA has finally taken a trade today...GBPCAD on my Cowboy Go Markets live account and GBPJPY & GBPCAD on my GP live account. Looking at the charts it looks as though there may be a few valid setups in this later part of the week.

I had the GBPCAD trade trigger as well but overruled the EA due to concern about all the news events scheduled for today and tomorrow. In the short term, it appears to be a decent "gut instinct" decision. It looks as if the GBPCAD may trigger again later today. Of course, then I will be biting my nails because of NFP news tomorrow.

Well, I had two trades:

Short audusd, the EA exited the trade at -21pips (without waiting for SL)....I found that exit rather strange(see the attached).

Long usdcad...hanging to this one!

My broker is FXCM.
