Anyway just something to play with in your spare time. :) gbp/nzd and eur/usd. Once you break outside that box it sure looks nice and when it doesnt you keep the SL small.

Any move outside the yellow lines is a free ride. :)

Thanks this works really cool. Now if I have an EA that sets a buy and sell pending 10 pips above or below the DO I will either be hedged after 20 pips or something is going on a run. I have tried it a couple of times and getting 20 pips in one direction or another seems to come pretty easy. The no movement days look like a pain but the runner days you are in early and off to the races.

Actually play it smart. Use only jpy,aud, and nzd during Asian. They tend to go one way or the other at the start of the JPY session. 10-20 pips comes quickly.

Euro session eur, gbp, chf

I havent watched the USA session much because I am teaching when it opens.

Stay with the currencies whose banks are open and it seems to work most of the time. Enter at 10 take half at 20. Bring SL up to 0 and let it ride.

An EA that sets both buy and sell pendings and then MPTM to manage them thereafter. I am curious to have an indi the sets a Euro open and see if it does the same thing. In other words if this works you have an indi that sets an open at the start, resets at euro, resets at USD. allows you to trade each session starting at 0. The theory behind it is when a session opens there is enough of a jump in on direction to get you 10 pips and then plus if it runs. That is theory I am working on.

Interesting.

In the past, I believe you had a 'set' that started at the open of each session [10.3?]. I witnessed then, that the first bar after the open usually goes in the same direction as the previous bar.

Bob, I have been using a similar strategy in the past using a modified fibb indicator to draw lines to trade from.

While I did collect some pips my method was a pain in the back side and I dropped it.

This indicator from Elixe makes it so much easier :clap: and I already pocked a few dollars this morning :party:

An EA would really makes this a winner!

OK now lets put these two together and you can trade every market the same. At market open jpy, eur, usa, the indi has a market open line and can the lines can be place 10 above and below. Let us see how that looks.

This is the eur/aud on 30M chart showing the open at every session. Each session would have given you 10-40 pips at the open of every session. Two were buys and 1 would have been a sell. No thinking just set a pending buy and sell at +10/-10 and then let it ride.

So adjust the indi to show the open of the session with open line and +10 and +20 lines and we may a dynamite indi. No chart reading, no fundamentals, no nothing, just let price go either way and ride it. Only way to know is to have the indi draw the lines and look at the charts. :xm:

Well it didnt take long to marry the two. Good idea, put Boldtraders market open with the daily open and have 3 trading sessions a day instead of one. yup yup yup no thinking just let the market take the direction and go.
