I couldnt get this to work with I B F X. Dont know why??
It turns red or green only crossing level, the same logic as alert. When STO moving up and crossing 20 or 40 color be green. When STO move down and crossing 80 or 60 color be red. If no crossing no color.

I found errors with color :(

Quiet day except for the gbp/xxx crosses did well. I only got the gbp/nzd and gbp/cad but the gbp/aud crossed above the 240 line and the gbp/usd did a nice move also. Euro currencies seem to be on the way up, aud nzd usd cad on the way down. JPY doing its strengthening during the last week of the month thing again so those are good places to look.

Washington still is bickering so I still expect USD weakness and looks like the CAD will be drug along with it. I played the gbp/cad to its previous high but it continued so I have a pending buy above the next xxx.00 line expecting the gbp to continue to strengthen.

In my view it's a big problem when the CSS curves all go flat, as they are now, except for the Nzd (see below). It means not much will be happening.

Hi Bob, your analysis on how currencies inter-relate is interesting (eg: NZD follows AUD, etc).

Is the same true for USD and CAD? CAD will always follow USD? I've striped my CSS to only show CAD and USD, seems when USD falls so does CAD. I guess this hold true as the Canadian economy is to dependent on the US economy.

You need a lot more back testing than that. Need to look at a couple of years of back testing.

Thanks for your invaluable example Bob. What I find interesting is this system or version now, is not dependant on the RSI to flatten on the top or the bottom to give us a signal. From what I can see your signal is really dependant on the direction of the STO. Would that be correct?

bob excuse me if youve allready answered this but re the css, when you look at your screen at the start of your trading day, do you just look at the daily or do you look at the 4 hour, looking at the 4 hour now jpy has turned down, NZD at the bottom turning up, on the daily totally different your thoughts, cheers

I like the daily and use it the most. If I am uncertain about something I will look at the 4H. The daily and 4H are reflecting that price action is between the 60 and 240 lines on most of the NZD pairs. After a nice dip in its recent UT it maybe correcting to a range area or will do a short UT as it goes into a DT again. But right now it is in the range/reverse area. So 4H shows one thing and daily shows the other.

I had a few very nice trades on the xxxJPY pairs today. All crossing the DP on the trend and going for good pips.

I made an adjustment in the AEJ STO warning system. Now it reads:

If above 240 and 60 buy
If below 240 and 60 SELL
If above 240 but below 60 reversal buytrend
If below 240 but above 60 reversal selltrend

So now it is letting you know price has retraced into the range area but is still giving you 240 buy/sell signals. These will be a more discretionary trade.
