If your looking for an EA to help you place your manual entries, exits, targets and so forth, here is one that I just posted. All you have to do is load the EA and it draws lines for you, just move them around and start the EA. See the post for a full description.

Hy Dragos,

I optimized my trading strategy (European Morning Grid Breakout) a little bit. Now I don´t let the EA start at a fixed time/hour. Now I look first if a pair is in a range and not trending (for example asia session high/low) and I try to start the EA so that the middle of trap is the middle of that asia session range zone. Which is not easy to handle because I have to watch the price precisely and then, when price is in the exact middle of range I have to start the EA.

Is it possible for you to tweak the EA in that direction?

- input trap style 1,2,3 (1 = use hourly trap as b4, 2 = use actual price as center not hourly, 3 = use user defined price as center not hourly)
- input center price: xxx.xxx

That would be very nice! ...

This strategy is worth to study!I have actual account, I chose 30 seconds before the publication of the large data entry orders go!My script is down the 2 single script!Who can provide plus or minus 3 single better! !

Hallo Dietmar,

I would like herewith for the first time to introduce my self as a new member (today) of this Forex Trading Forum, i am very glad to be a part of this and wish to read and learn some useful articles in the next future time. I am very new to Forex about 8 months and i have already got 4 times MC and nearly break off for FX. I do hope there must be a simple way or Trading strategy that i can apply someday, i have learned and read your simple strategy and that is for me quite simple to be understood and applied. So, will you be so kind enough to wire me a link or download address of your strategy like i have seen attached in your articles page, so that i can apply this easily to Empty4. I do hope that you can take me into your account, I would be very glad for an answer and your response would be highly appreciated. I came accross your 'Trap Strategy' on the Forum and its been a while since you updated, are you still trading it and has the EA proved itself?

Hy Akara, (I answered DenOzi via PM), yes, but not every day. I have to set the EA wise to let it work out well. It must be placed at the right moment/price-level. Close to fib-levels of last daily high/low for example is ok, everywhere, where you expect a good movement/reaction of price. (former support/resistance levels).

So I hope I can find someone, who can improve the nice EA. It would be more easy to let the grid start if the price has reached a certain level (instead of placing it at a fix time). Actually I have to wait and sit on my hands until price has reached that level, where I wanted to start the grid.

Hello Dietmar,

I have just read all the comments from all regarding your system, let me say that i am stupid i do not even get my points with this system. I have just download Price Trap indicator posted in your pages, i really want to apply this system but i i want this for me work out a bit simple since i do not have enough knowledge to understand like others professionals. I need simple way to apply this system with one click so i know the exact where to put sell and buy order according to the grid.

I want to learn moreeeee. pls help.

Hello Dietmar,

I did a quick hackjob in allowing the Euro v4 EA to start at a defined price instead of time. It looks like it works fine if the LevelsOffset pips is at 15. I reduce that and it gives invalid stop errors :(

Basically theres an option to use either time or price. (Btw its programmed that the Price you want it to trigger will be +-2 pips of the current bid.

Aka Price trigger at 1.00050 means, means that if the bid is at 1.0004, it will trigger, because there is a 2 pip difference above and below the bid price.

Have a go at it?
