Steve,

It looks like the pairs listed in the "input pairs to trade" in my demo had sent all trade a few seconds one after the other. It is either long or short. Just want to suggest if it would be possible to include a code selecting a short only (or long only) trades. I know I can do that in the common tab, but a coded one is more convenient I guessed. This will allow me to drop the EA in another screen with different magic no. to send a hedge on a losing trades. Exciting ha! Thank you Steve for sharing.

You want to hedge trades, then hedge them. I am not going to add extra complication to the EA just to save you from a bit of trade-sending.

Tomorrow is my trade closing day. At the mo, it looks as though the position will close at c. +1000, but I will let you all know the final result.

I shall be quite sorry to see the basket close. It has been great watching the banked profits gradually pull away from the drawdown. Never mind. July will soon be here.

Hi Steve

I started my OAM on day 11 and am currently:

4 closed trades: +265
19 open trades: -596

Today is day 17 and due to close on day 20.

One mistake I did make was that I had left the DayofMonthStart = 7 :oops:

Not sure how this would affect the EA

My results not so good... caught by the CAD reversal after day 16.
4 pairs hit TP for +261pips,
23 pairs closed today (day 20).
net -634pips
Try again (on an earlier day in July!)

My trades just closed at -633 pips, but I started on Day 16 Hour 18 and closed on Day 20 Hour 18.

Here is my breakdown. Started on day 11 but made a mistake with DayoftheMonthStart = 7

As you can see I am now -1031 on Day 18. Close is day 20.

Update on mine, Oanda demo day 17, ootb:
4 hit TP = 295 pips, other 22 pairs currently -860, set to close on London mid-day Friday so time yet.

GP demo day 17(3 days later than Oanda) ootb: 21 pairs at -718, same close time as above, come on :cheer:

Rather than plucking a number out of the air next month I'm going to try starting it the day after the 1st big news day which is Thursday the 3rd and stick to shutting it down on midday last Friday of the month, unless all have hit TP before then :clap:

Soooo.

My banked pips are : 1000.
My floating pips are..... -1700 :youknow:

Trades opened at day 7 & day 15, close will occur at day 20, that is friday for me, We can still have a surprise.

I'll report friday how it ended :mrgreen:
