I've actually had pretty decent results with this EA, I've been testing it for awhile and I'm keeping the original demo going which is at breakeven after about a month, but using the statistics on currencies from the original, I started a 2nd demo using only profitable currencies and we'll see how that goes  |

Also, keep in mind I'm using Oanda 1:50, so we have FIFO and sometimes I get error messages about FIFO. I'm planning to eventually switch over to FinFX, but even though CFTC regulations suck, I still do feel more comfortable trading with a regulated US broker than an un-regulated offshore one. |

Hey Remix, FIFO sux dead mutts nuts! There is code floating around to handle FIFO correctly, but I just can't get my head around it I read your comment in Steve's OADnB thread about trades not moving up through the timeframes, so here's a few things to try... 1. Fine-tune your basket entry times... 2. Adjust your JumpingStopMultiplier... 3. Lower your JumpsBeforeExport setting. I plan to eventually add the 'nBob bits, but lately, whenever I look at code, my brain freezes over I reckon that once I do that, even I could get a bit of profit with my crappy settings Have fun! Thanks Radar! The bot seems to be actually doing just fine with the current OAD setup, lol, in fact when some trades move up to higher TFs and then next day the EA opens another trade for that pair then when it gets to a point of closing, that's when I get the FIFO errors because it'll try to close the newest trade first instead of the older one. |

Hi Radar, thanks for your great work. i have seen this LongSwap = MarketInfo(symbol, MODE_SWAPLONG); ShortSwap = MarketInfo(symbol, MODE_SWAPSHORT); in steve's OAD but i can't find that in your OUATF. Is it not needed in your code? Just wondering. thanks |
