I hope you all do. I am counting the moments until I finally meet Bob.

Maybe the HGI/HGB team would be interested in a 30hour flight down to Aussie one day :D

I throw up a question for the people in-the-know:

We sometimes find two of these wavey symbols next to each other on the chart. If you move the mouse over the candle and watch the data window, you see that one of them is in buffer 7 and the other in buffer 8.

If you look in Steve's HGB code, he assigns buffer 7 (in coding terms buffer 6) to 'TMA High' and buffer 8 to 'TMA Low'. So, if we see two wavey symbols next to each other, the TMA has moved from High to Low in one candle? Weird ...

Furthermore, in Steve's code, a BUY (either TREND, RANGE or RAD) is closed, if a 'TMA High' wavey symbol is encountered. Why? If the wavey symbol represents TMA_Slope wouldn't you want the BUY to be closed when a 'TMA Low' is encountered?

What am I missing here?

If impression serves me right...in Bob's manual, the wavy symbol just means the current trend is weak and it is about to turn/change direction.

Cheers

Ok, so buffer 7 means: 'Up trend is weak' and buffer 8 means: 'Down trend is weak'. And when you see two wavey symbols next to each other, it just means that there is no trend at all ... Makes sense.

I have changed a few lines of code in TheMatrix, to display the HGI arrows, like so:
Selection_106.png
You can select the TimeFrame (displayed in the top left tile) and specify if you want to look at the closed candle or current candle. The display is refreshed every 60 seconds. You can put a few of these on your screen, but you need to change the XOffSet and YOffSet parameters. This is best viewed on a black screen.

This might be useful to quickly get an overview of what's happening and then zoom in on the chart(s) of interest.

Indicator attached. Have fun!

Edit: For those 11 early birds who downloaded HGIMatrix already, I have removed that annoying print statement.
