I will look into it.. to create a version doing what you described.
The multiple trades could easily be desiabled.
So only special function is to close on rangestart..
The current mod1 is doing the opposite.. closing on Range end wave..

To be sure we're talking about the same here;
- open on blue waves,
- close on yellow waves.

Just like Bo-mod, except the duplicate trades.

Yes also on rad trend trades. Set multitudes to 0 and your done. Nothing is to code for that.

I need a version that;
- enters 1 trade on a trendarrow
- enters 1 trade on a trendstart wave

- close all on a rangestart wave

I'm trading HGB-mod on the D1, and HGI manually [D1] on another demo.
Results are great, but I can't trust the EA and manually I sometimes enter too late.

The other difference is the trade management.
- On the HGB-mod I have set SL=100 and that's it, just wait for yellow wavies.
- On the HGI-manually I have set SL=100, BE+50@100, JS50 [like on PPM]

I would love to try a EA-version that enters like I mentioned, set BE@something and let it run.
Hi. Do you also have myfxbook stats on your daily HGB mod? Could you share the set file? ;)

Hey guys, how might I go about changing the amount of pips distance from the signal to the pending orders? I am trading on the H1 chart and using the pending orders to weed out the small losers but the distance needs tweaking.

This is not possible (yet), I do
don't have plans to implement it because there are lots
Of more important stuff to be implemented.

Hi Boinvest,

Great work going on with the HGB EAs and I spent a couple of hours playing with the official version and your variant, to see if I could understand how they would perform over long periods of time. To keep it simple I turned off most trading methods except trend-trading.
I tried to keep the settings for both EAs as close as possible.

This is not a comparison between the two EAs I'm posting in case the developers find anything useful from the tests I did.

I have to get back to working on my own EA's so I'll just present a couple of screen shots.

Running the official HGB I found buy-stops when there was a big red arrow pointing down on the corresponding chart (GBPUSD H4). When I did a similar run for boHGI I found sell-stops a few bars after the big red arrow.

I was able to run HGB with 5 months of crappytester history but I was not able to run boHGB for longer because of different kinds of errors (A: volume mismatch; B: lot size error 131)

I tried to work around these errors by running on different brokers; I gave up with every-tick mode because of the first error and I tried different time-frames but decided to call it a day

I did'nt have these kind of error on my accounts, Maybe because of different non 2stage broker.
Next version will include a lost size check.

EDIT: Looks like its because of my jumping stop and break even settings, is there any chance of being able to set BE and JS on the BoHGB mod version in the future?

Yes,
I was to much in a rush putting together previous version.
So attached is 2u.
Adittionally:
fixed the cashtakeprofit like in the HGB
fixed getnext20 like in the HGB
added lotsize check in order send function
