If you mean the maxtradespertimeframe in the fill the gap settings then I am not sure 2 would be sufficient with this strategy. With a 1k account you would be better off limiting the pairstotrade to just the major pairs and reducing the basket profit instead. Try both and see what happens :smile:
Thanks yes you are right, i already changed basket profit to 1 USD, will also try 0.1% and see...

for now i am 1 USD instead of 5 , and will see.
and 6 major pairs will be perfect, not too much for my capital but not too bad to avoid big gap, black swan...

Today's Update :

all balances started at $10k.

Day 3:
Awesome all timeframes non basket.set

Balance : $10,857.28
Equity : $10,308.71

~ $549 floating loss


Awesome M1 basket.set

lot sizes and balances fixed
Balance : $10,596.95 :o
Equity: ~$10,604.40


Steves four timeframe.set

Balance : $10,704.12
Equity : $10,296.08

~ $408.04 floating loss


I have updated the code to the latest and added the Flying Budda indicator in the folder. I thought it was optional... Then I read the manual again :arrrg:

Marginal increases on account 1 and 3, about 0.6% on the balance. One thing to put into perspective is that there is more floating loss around this time than in the middle of the day. The accounts are kinda stuck for the most part, and I'm hoping it isn't because I forgot the FB indicator.

After updating the settings for M1 baskets it gained and locked in an astonishing 4.8% today. I'm turning into a basket case. It's nice to not have pairs hanging around waiting for the end of the manipulation run...

Still very early days... I want to know how, when and the size of loss when it happens.

Thanks for the update.
I can tell you how and when the big loss will come: when there is a big one-way move against the direction of our trades, even worse with a gap - that will cause some heartache.
Note the long post by TJF on the previous page where he explains why he used .01 lots per 10,000 in the M1 basket setfile. There are so many close-spaced trades on M1 that the leverage used on the other TF's will get us into trouble on M1 when the big move happens. That's a big pity, but I'm sure he's right, so your "corrected" setfile will get you into trouble.

i read a different perspective from TJF in a later post, but that comes to more a philosophy of money management and how you handle risk. I don't want to get in that discussion here.
